Siena shoots better from the field, from 3, dominates the boards... but has 10 more turnovers and loses by 4. Clean it up a little and game was there for the taking.

Lavon was GREAT tonight. Monmouth played average Nd were ripe for the picking. Too bad we lost Marquis the last 6 minutes. I think we would have pulled it off if he could play. Excuses already rolling in...

Nice effort by the guys. Siena just doesn't have a reliable shooter which we have seen all year. Brett missed some big open shots and Javion continues to disappear as he has all year. Lavon played well and him getting in foul trouble and having to step off Robinson is when he got going. Wright,Shivers and Smithen can't guard him. Hopefully they get lucky and can sneak into a 3 seed. As a 4/5 seed have to play 10pm and then turn around and play at 4:30 the next day vs Monmouth

great effort by the kids vs a vastly superior team- Monmouth's 6 straight wins vs Jimmy- who struggles playing top MAAC teams- but take nothing away from Siena's kids, they played their heart out Vastly superior..no. Better ...yes. They slowed the tempo in the 2nd half and it almost worked. Wright getting cramps killed momentum.

Game flow benefitted Saints in 2nd but not sure it was on purpose. Siena should have won this game.

You hit the key point - kids gave this game everything they had - best effort of the season - played great under the pressure of the full house on Senior night - Lavon OUTSTANDING defense - and very competitive and determined - kids really wanted it - key was Marquis out during crunch time with cramps - if he was there, Siena takes this one - also foul trouble on Nico and Lavon hurt, but loved what I saw from the Saints tonight -

Just stop with the excuses....Monmouth is better then Siena...time to face it this coach with this group of players cannot and will not win a big game. Glad JO made the trip.

Vastly superior my ass. Better yes. Vastly? No. Patsos still has them chasing. He got lucky the pace was choppier in the 2nd half and we made some prayers...like Lavon's end of shot clock three. Monmouth played a flawed game..and Patsos got lucky it was close. But it doesn't mean Monmouth is vastly superior. It means Patsos is not focusing on the right things. Siena has the talent. They don't have the right strategy.
