With all due respect to Robinson, he is surrounded by players that fit the system the coach employs. Siena is a team of puzzle peices that half the time don't seem to fit together.
I guess Quis proved he could excel with Nico back anyway though. I'm glad he's working on things but if he isn't reeled in there will be no chance at the magical pixie dust shower the first week of March. Just my opinion.

Monmouth was on fire last night and couldn't miss, they were coming off a 60 point game and Robinson only scored 7 points. It's the law of averages. When a team shoots like they did last night they aren't losing. They are beatable, they won't shoot like that every night.

I expect a better game in Jersey! But..some players need to wake up! Perhaps, since you have his ear/pillow/?, you should suggest that the coach get a wake up call instead - a bright eyed, sharp, fully awake HC showing up at practice will serve as a stronger wake up call than a DOBO or assistant talking to the group in the locker room. Not sure the kids need a wake up call, they could have benefited from a deeper bench to give them needed blows during games so they aren't out of gas after 30 minutes! I'd suggest you schedule yours 15 minutes earlier than JP's and then give him a call to make sure he responds.....

Trust me Rice "sold out" too. None of you find it funny he has two starters from Deion Sanders "Prime Prep" (which I think is now closed because of academic fraud)in Dallas Texas? They just wanted to play ball in New Jersey. Especially Hornbeak who was at Oklahoma?
There's a reason when you see this much talent at a low mid-major. I think we should do the same thing. We'll be winners again, I promise.

However you do need someone steering the ship that isn't a lazy recruiter and knows and is willing to use the resources they have available. You also need a little luck. If I remember correctly Robinson was lightly recruited at best and now he's going to be the MAAC layer of the year!!!! and don't forget Hasbrouck!!!!

Exactly Siena recruited the right way for years- and always managed to land good mid major players- this coach just isnt getting it done on recruiting trail. Tired of excuses, time for a change in head coach ( and the AD) but that's another day. Probably a few weeks left in season .. there will be no miracle run. not enough talent- there is a reason why they are 3 games under 500 in mid february- truth is team isnt that talented and below average athletically. When we play Rider and they are more athletic than us, UA, Vermont more athletic etc etc-- time for current coach and staff to go- nothing will change- except maybe get worse as Jimmy runs out the clock on current contract

82 points should be enough to win just about any game in the MAAC, not get blown out by 20. It wasn't a short bench, or MU having better offensive guards that did them in last night, it was a lack of defensive heart in my opinion. You do not give up 100 pts on your home deck in a game you need to win. Too many "innocent by-standers" (especially in the paint, just like with Hart at Marist) on defense and once again an inability to finish at the rim when they did have the chance on offense. They earned that spanking.

Man, Jimmy was quite defensive in the post-game interview with Marissa. He knew exactly what the questions were going to be and cut her off immediately. To some degree he was right. Monmouth was simply the better team and you can't take that away from them. The question Jimmy is avoiding is why wasn't Siena the better team? On our home floor...with 4 seniors!
