3) Monmouth. Let''s try this again people. 3rd time a charm. Let''s get through this winter storm todday and just show up tomorrow night.

If my memory serves me correctly, we have not beaten Monmouth for the last 5 or 7 times. I always wondered last year if Wright on the floor would make a difference. If you cannot get up for this game, I really do not know what gets you excited to play a game.

Very possible Saints and Hawks could play three times over the next three weeks. You can't let Robinson go off - he'll get his points have to make him work for them. Nico will be on Seaborn.
Siena has to make their FTs and shoot a decent percentage from 3. Monmouth is too good we can't help them out and beat ourselves.
Should be a good matchup Hawks probably favored by 2-3 at the TUC. Major test for the team has we battle for tournament positioning.

Major test for the team has we battle for tournament positioning. Forget the 3 point shot. Siena needs to stop Monmouth from making easy 2s. Siena can beat them in points per shot and outrebound them as long as they keep the turnovers down, prevent easy lay ups, and force MU to rely on the three. They are too fast for us. Last year, they scored 50 pts off turnovers against us in 2 games. Make them play a half court game. Not going to mention what defense I'd consider.

@marksingelais: Siena's Brett Bisping not practicing today to get some rest. Struggled offensively last two games, but said his knees aren't the problem.

This game is a personal one for Marquis.
I am sure he has always thought he is the premier point guard in the league.
I am sure from a competitive standpoint that he thinks he is just as good as Robinson.
I am sure it burns him up that he was not voted onto any of the pre season All MAAC teams.
Nico wants to take it to Seaborn.
Brett, Javion, and Lavon and the rest of the team want to show both Monmouth and the rest of the MAAC that when they have all their guys; are playing where they are all on the same page; and having fun; that this team is as good as and can beat "any" team in the MAAC, including Monmouth.
Confidence. Compete. Focus. Never give up. Have fun.
Add this to the level of talent this team has,, and it all equates to just one thing.
Win! Just win!

Which is why I will be pleasantly surprised if either game is a win.

...and Manhattan is nowhere near as good as us offensively. We'll see what happens. IF we ever get all 5 guys to play well, we beat anyone in the MAAC.

Robinson only scored 7 vs Manhattan he's ready for a 30 point game. If our 5 show up together we will beat the little guy even if he puts up 30 or more.
