Not quite but he definitely reached over the boards to go after one and had to be restrained by like 6 people to stop him from going after him. That was right in front of my section. Story states a fan threw something at them. I hope that isn't true. I didn't see anything thrown but we were worried a racial slur was used because of how irate he was. Would make sense if something was thrown at him but the guy he was going after was right down front in his face.

Team is improving game by game. Have to give credit to Patsos he had a nice defensive move going with 1 guard and 4 forwards in the second half holding Rider scoreless for a good stretch. Fisher has had 2 decent games, the best stretch of his career. Bench had 10 and 5 providing a modest boost. Big game at St Pete's! JP "almost" got it right. Give the ball to LL, move EF to the 3, Keep BB at the top and give WB some run at the 4. Then our "short guy" is 6'7" and if they start hitting like they did at the end of last season, everyone of them can knock down a 3. Would be entertaining to say the least.

Candidly best way for the league to handle the situation is to let it go as it s. Does the league impose a suspension every time a player is ejected. Think not. If they suspend one player they need to suspend both and than what about Bagged? Look bad for the league if he wasn't suspended if they suspend the players, multiply a coach suspended for anything. I for one don't want to loose MW for a game. IMO let it go no one was hurt and I am sure they learned their lessons. Add that a decision should must be made today if a suspension is coming as Siena plays Thursday. By rule, the Rider player has to be suspended for throwing a punch. The league will also look at the benches to see if anyone left them. I saw Degnan on the floor, he may merit a suspension as well. I believe Quis would get a suspension if they gave him a Flagrant 2 foul.

If MAAC follows what they did in past, there probably won't be any suspensions; I mean AJ E could throw a ref to the ground w/o material consequences. There will be at least 2 suspensions (MW & Durham); probably one game each to satisfy NCAA. Baggett should get some sort of reprimand or suspension, IMO.

Being reported on Big Board Sports that assistant Rider Coach was in the stands going after a fan last night. Probably feeling empty and needs to unload since he couldn't finish his tirade on MW. I think the fan instigated that situation.

Singelais: Told to expect an announcement by 4 p.m. on MAAC punishments for Siena-Rider altercation. Possible 1-game suspension for Wright, Durham.

I wouldn't be surprised if some organization will require people to apply for licenses or register their deadly words otherwise receive some form of penalty/punishment.

We are in big trouble if Degnan is suspended. He could get suspended for beginning of next season.

Yes, but not sure if it was for the ref beating and if it was I though I read that many thought he should have got more time added to it but since he was a MAAC star they went easy on him (or explained it away). Can't remember, couple years ago.

Per NCAA fighting not double technical requires one game suspension ... Question is does a "push" constitute fighting

I remember looking at scoreboard st the 7 min mark (timeout) thinking, Wow!, we held Rider to only 6 points for the fist 13:00. Great defense, I never would have thought to go 4 big and a PG lineup. It worked, great overall game/win. Call me greedy but I'm still hungry for more, let's try and take this win steak and see how far it'll take us. You are not greedy, you are just enjoying what we 'haters' knew these kids had in them all along with good game planning, coaching decisions and adjustments; which we finally saw last night. It also helped that LL was stellar- only wish we saw more of that through his career here, but kudos to the kid if he goes out with a bang. Baggett should have been escorted to the locker room IMHO as soon as he addressed Quis. JP...if you are listening and I know you are....keep it up. Because far too many have become indifferent and it's up to you to get them back.
