Team is improving game by game. Have to give credit to Patsos he had a nice defensive move going with 1 guard and 4 forwards in the second half holding Rider scoreless for a good stretch. Fisher has had 2 decent games, the best stretch of his career. Bench had 10 and 5 providing a modest boost.
Big game at St Pete's!

After some deliberation, my thoughts on last night.
Wright's shove was almost certainly in retaliation for the hard foul he took on the fast break a couple plays earlier. Loved seeing him step up in defense of Richards and JO.
Baggett is absolutely in the wrong for going after Wright. As Huerter put it, he should never be talking to another team's player and his actions only served to escalate the situation.
Believe both Wright and Rider's puncher will get a 1 game suspension. Baggett should get one too for going after Wright. Not saying I think Wright deserves it but his push started the brouhaha and he'll get punished for it.
Patsos came out of last night looking pretty good. He tried to deescalate the fight, supported his players, made for a great visual in the handshake line and said all the right things in the presser.
Lavon Long is an absolute beast when he puts his mind to it. 29 points with 2 missed front ends of the 1 and 1. Monster game when JO and Bisping were not at their best.
Agree with OI above, the 3-2 defense worked really well in the second half and was the difference in the game.

I remember looking at scoreboard st the 7 min mark (timeout) thinking, Wow!, we held Rider to only 6 points for the fist 13:00. Great defense, I never would have thought to go 4 big and a PG lineup. It worked, great overall game/win. Call me greedy but I'm still hungry for more, let's try and take this win steak and see how far it'll take us.

While I agree MW should get a 1 game suspension, I'm wondering if Durham should get more time due to the punch. Also agree Baggett should get something, he didn't even attempt to calm his players down and move them back to the bench.

Assessing the same penalty on Baggett and Patsos was an absolute joke. Baggett's departure from his bench area and his "speaking" to Siena players and shaking his finger at everyone only served to escalate the situation. If Jimmy deserved a T, Baggett deserved at least two of them and should have been dispatched to the locker room with Durham.

The reason Baggett didn't shake hands at end of game wasn't because he was worried that his players would have an incident, it was because he couldn't control his own emotions and he may have gone off on someone. He was still jawing at Quis and steaming from his bench 10 minutes after the incident. Seems worthy of a suspension to me.

Candidly best way for the league to handle the situation is to let it go as it s. Does the league impose a suspension every time a player is ejected. Think not. If they suspend one player they need to suspend both and than what about Bagged? Look bad for the league if he wasn't suspended if they suspend the players, multiply a coach suspended for anything. I for one don't want to loose MW for a game. IMO let it go no one was hurt and I am sure they learned their lessons. Add that a decision should must be made today if a suspension is coming as Siena plays Thursday.

I hope your not right. We will know shortly due to the quick turnaround for games. If a decision not made today, IMO not likely to come. Further if you are right about the MAAC looks than Rider coach goes for a game if not all hell breaks loose especially after no hand shakes.

The league will also look at the benches to see if anyone left them. I saw Degnan on the floor, he may merit a suspension as well.

We are in big trouble if Degnan is suspended.

Being reported on Big Board Sports that assistant Rider Coach was in the stands going after a fan last night.

Being reported on Big Board Sports that assistant Rider Coach was in the stands going after a fan last night. Not quite but he definitely reached over the boards to go after one and had to be restrained by like 6 people to stop him from going after him. That was right in front of my section.

Story states a fan threw something at them. I hope that isn't true.
