Looked to me like Smithin, Richards and Shivers all played with more confidence- not looking over their shoulder afraid to make a mistake. Losing Nico may end up addition by subtraction. Team chemistry has looked as good as I've seen it all year the last two games minus Nico I am no fan of JP but I have to give him credit for discovering that Nico was a problem and removing him. It cannot be easy taking your most talented player away from the team. IN other words, it took a set of balls to lie down some caveats to being a member of this team...finally.

Great play by the whole team, kudos to JP and staff for having a workable game plan. And finally a big thank you to FF for never getting hot from the 3.

Nice road win, team chemistry noticeably better- more balanced shooting- Oneindian- reason for better Brett , he is getting better looks without Nico chucking up a shot that he more often than not missed. Smithin, Richard and Shivers playing with more confidence not looking over their shoulder. Team isnt as talented without Nico, but definitely more fun to watch as they are playing "team" ball

Okay, the three point shooting stunk for us, but I saw a team compete today. Good defense and rebounds! Fisher with a three!!!!

Solid win!! Seniors stepping up and Brett is back to his first team all-MAAC level. Good bench play from Khalil and yes Evan Fisher. Good minutes from Kadeem too. Maybe less is more? Let's see if we can win four straight on Tuesday. Big test vs Ridder at the TUC!

Nice effort. Helps when the other team has an off shooting game. I liked how they managed the game and controlled the clock with the lead. Great FT shooting. Great game plan and execution.

Best team play I have seen all season. Isn't it funny it isn't with Nico around for all you on and off the bandwagon fair weather fans...Learn that it's not all about talent but team cohesiveness. Let the coaches do their job, that's why their there and your not. Yeah ok big boy it's 15-13 11 minutes into the game Now what...

Pretty sure Siena's defense had something to do with FF's poor shooting. FF had few looks where there wasn't someone running at them/a hand in their face. FF did not lose this game, Siena won it with their defense and just enough offense to get by.

Sorry but Brett's play over the past few games has little to do with Nico and more to do with looking more like the old Brett.

FF is one of the top 2-3 teams in the league. Beating them on the road would be a surprise, but teams seem to come together when issues are finally addressed and put to bed. I'm hoping to see our kids come together today and give a strong effort. I know this is no, "Nico will transfer at the break" prediction but THIS is what happens when cancers are removed from a team sport. #realtalk

Just a coincidence that it was very evident in the last two games? Tony, I agree 100% with you about Brett- the flow of the offense is significantly better and not only is Brett getting the ball in better positions to finish in the paint or knock down an open three but the internal passing and the ball rotation is much better. It looks to me like a giant weight has been lifted off this team and they are playing harder and more together. Let’s keep it rolling.

Also this game could be big in tiebreakers as Siena has swept a likely top 5 team in FF.
Can Siena go 9-4 rest of the way? That would give is a winning record (16-15) going into the MAAC tournament and a 13-7 conference record which could put Siena in the top 3. Crazy to think what a couple of wins will do and finally winning a road game?
Will this be just a small blip or the start to the road to Dayton? Time will tell! But at least the season has some life. Go Saints!

Build on it. Let's hope that smithen and the three freshmen give us some bench help each game and we win on defense and rebounding with a balanced scoring attack. I notice Brett driving more and getting more runners and bunnies
