Such a dumb foul for a 5th year senior Agreed but why is he back in the game with Siena leading by 8 and 6 minutes to play? That's on Pastos

AlphaFish did not play at all. Maybe JP realizes he ain't the guy finally. Hope we are still recruiting another big Withh the way things are being handled administratively any idea who would want to come here and play if they had another choice ?

What coach with any credibility and upward mobility would want to team up with this cluster F. Think of the practices over the last 25-30 years. What has changed. Well we basically have the same AD, and the school doesn't follow the mission statement it posted. Will be a tough scenario getting someone decent if they pull the trigger on JP.

Ugly ugly win but sure beats an ugly ugly loss. Another terrible shooting performance from 3 after a fast start. Now down to 343rd in the nation in 3 point percentage. Just 8 spots down to go.

You think he should have kept his 5th year senior, all-MAAC forward, and leader, on the bench the rest of the game? He came back in up 5, and fouled out up 7. Our biggest lead of the game. It was a tight, close one all night. You cant let your star player rot on the bench late in the game because he has 4 fouls. He needs to know to play carefully and avoid backing smaller guys in at that point. His presence is desperately needed on the floor. Thats ALL on him, not the coach. ps-anyone that agress with you on this either doesn't know basketball, or has so much hate on their minds for the HC, they're not thinking right.

I would not want Brett anywhere but in the floor. But I would have drilled into his head not to try to flop, hack or reach at that point. I truly thought it was over when he fouled out....too close for comfort.

Smithen saved our bacon tonight. He did what none of the seniors can do....go 2-2 at the FT line late in a game!! Thats two solid games in a row from him. I'm sure slim will be here soon to give him his props. I believe some time ago I posted that Smithen was the kid most like Ryan Oliver personality wise. Good to see JP finally made the connection Really? Our HC didnt give Kadeem a chance? Pleaseeeeee. Sure he did, and he played poorly. Was an injury why? No idea, but he didnt perform, well, and I was one of his biggest supporters (see slim obsessed with him not being in Kennys league and letting me know it each game). Kadeem has the "leader by example" gene, and he showed it last night. The crowd has been dying to see a kid, any kid, make some effort plays that show they give a $hit. Notice how diving on the floor got contagious? A couple other kids followed Kadeems lead and sacrificed their bodies later in the game.

Where did I say he didn't get a chance.? I said his personality was most like Ryan, as in high character and to quote you capable of leading by example. SO BECAUSE YOU KNOW I NEVER WANTED JP HERE, YOU THINK IT'S OK TO INSERT ALL KIND IS SHIT TO WHATEVER I POST. When JP isn't acting like an ass, not throwing kids under he bus, not screwing with their heads and has his act under control to do something productive like connecting the two personality wise AS HE CLEARLY DID IN LAST NIGHT'S PRESSER, I recognize those efforts.

Not necessarily, we were up so you can often steal a couple of minutes with a lead to mitigate the potential of fouling out. It's done all the time, if the lead starts to slip in the slightest in he goes, to say someone who makes that comment doesn't understand basketball is an inaccurate comment. That being said its understood that a 5th player needs to play smarter under those circumstances

It was a close game. Brett sat for awhile with 4. Putting him back in after the 8 min media timeout makes perfect sense. It was a very tight game. Anyone that saw it knows it wasnt even close to being a comfortbale one. Not some double digit blowout where you have the luxury to leave your best, most consistent player out of the game. Brett screwed up, it happens. End of story.

SP couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. He comes back at approx 7:30 at media TO and fouls out about a min or so later. Lead goes form 7 to 4 to 2 to tied with Brett fouled out. Most coaches want their best players on the floor to finish. We got lucky and hung on, so handled perfectly no .... moves like that are why Rex is a 500 guy. Again once the coach put BB in that situation it's now up to him to play smarter, the offensive foul was a bad play. Still love Brett he plays hard always and leaves it all on the floor. Could use a team full of guys with his heart and work ethic.

Where you said, "Glad to see Jimmy finally made the connection!" That insinuates Jimmy finally smartened up and played one of your favorites. I said he did play him and others ripped me for saying I thought he could adaquately replace Kenny moving forward. I said many times he has great leadership qualities. Why are you fighting? Just for the sake of it?
