. So he's mailing it in just 3-7 days after he went 23 and 15? And at the start of the season has suddenly decided he wants 'to push forward with his life and get married.' Amazing how some people are mind-readers. I never said he was mailing it in, for the record. I'm just saying pain and brain drain may be a factor in the performance. OK. Then we need clarification. Here's the quote that started it: And you were quick to 'ding...ding...ding' it. The discussion was about the health of his knees and that there was more to it. To me, that quote tells me the poster thought that Brett's head and motivation has not been in it the last few games and is looking ahead to life post-Siena. All because he is sick of Jimmy 2 games into the season. Right after he gave props to Jimmy and the trainer for their efforts on his knees for the 2 days prior to the Cornell game.

I agree. It's seems like people are throwing shade on our players in an effort to satisfy their hate on the coach. First off I think Brett is a class act, does not mean the emotional drain from Jimmy is possibly making him rethink it. I am sure he will be fine and get going, the team needs a jump start, as fans we have to provide it Wednesday and turn out, hopefully bring a loud crowd. I don't think Jimmys coaching or lack there of will get them there. Have you never second guessed a decision in your Life? Agree with Siena7127, that's what I'm saying.

The 1-3 doesn't bother me as much as the defensive effort sucked and the fact we didn't look prepared for the way NC Asheville played. We couldn't figure out the 1 3 1 and it looked like we had no idea it was coming or how to solve it. That team was ok but that's a team we really should have buried. Again Patsos has far too many of these types of games. You never know what team is gonna show with him and that's not good. I get what you're saying but it always comes down to the record especially with a senior laden team. 1-3 is a tough start for a season that was supposed to be our best since 2009-2010. It's up to the coaches and players to get the ship righted and quickly. I've defending Jimmy but the fact is he is TERRIBLE with either none or one day of preparation. Since Jimmy has been the coach at Siena he is 8-25 in these situations. No shocker we lost to GW or Asheville when you consider those stats. We have seven more of those situations the rest of the year not counting the MAAC tournament. . Be careful stating facts you might be labeled a hater or a non fan.

The loss stinks. They all do. But all that matters is taking care of business in the MAAC season and most importantly in the 3-4 days of the MAAC Tourney. If we don't win this year I really think we need to move on but unfortunately this was d'argenio's guy. That and the contract will dictate jimmy comes back next year. So let's hunker down and support our Saints during the next 3 months. I think we have the talent to win many games in the conference. Not exactly. These games were the difference between an impossible 16 seed and a hopeful 13 seed.

Jimmy should spens more of his time on his team, game planing, recruiting and overall worrying about his teams success. Spend less time at other sporting events, banquets, bars and numerous vacations. When his teams start playing like champions and senior laden team it is then maybe he can shift the balance back to fun. He gets out worked and that is what is frustrating to many alum and fans I agree with much of this.

It's 4 games into the season and everyone has their conspiracy theories, hatred on the HC, disappointment in the players etc...I think 2-2 was a realistic record at this point, and we re 1-3. Still haven't had our full team yet (which should be shared with the fans why not), or lost a game we were favored in. Ps- sorry but last thing we should be worried about is NCAA seeding. How many times has the MAAC rep been a #16 seed??

The Maac has 5 NCAA wins when seeded 13th or better, 0-15 when seeded 14 or worse. Right now the Maac is 15 games under .500 and no doubt headed to another 14-16 seed. If the whole season is always only about three days in march it will never achieve the level of success it claims it wants in the tourney. This is why I am hopeful that the tweaks to the schedule will make progress in this area. But, the games need to be won to be meaningful.

Us losing last night wont effect the seed. The seed is based on the ENTIRE conferences performance, not Sienas.
We're finishing 5th anyway right, so what does it matter?

Even you can't possibly believe that is true. Of course winning games will get you a better seed than losing them, no matter what conference a team is from. But go ahead and believe what you want if it makes you feel better omg.

Can we wait until the UA game is over before we head for the cliff? Nicos back and Willie and JP can lock horns in a fierce battle for the Albany cup. If they lose to Willie and co. JP's so-so moniker will be coming to fruition.
