If anyone gets info on the top secret scrimmage please post it here. These scrimmages aren't "secret"; just not open to the public or anyone outside of the immediate teams. By mutual agreement (and as encouraged by the NCAA), coaches and team personnel do not openly discuss or publicize what goes on at the scrimmages. But that doesn't prevent people involved from discussing results and individual performances with others on a casual basis. But you'll never (or shouldn't) see anything specific about a scrimmage in the media. Because these scrimmages aren't actual games, coaches are free to experiment with various defenses, player combinations, etc. The teams may play a "game" for twenty minutes, and then agree to play zone only for ten minutes, man-to-man for ten, press for five, end of game situations, your second team against my second team, things like that. You always want your guys to play well in any situation the coaches agree to play, but because there are so many variables involved, it can be hard to draw any real conclusions. That's why there is minimal information provided about the outcomes. Scrimmage is at 11:00 this morning. Columbia returns only one starter from last year's team; pretty much the polar opposite of the Saints.

By the way, at risk to my own life, I discovered that Siena won its closed scrimmage at Columbia by 9 yesterday. You didn't hear it from me.

Hopefully Saints can win next matchup with another Ivy League team. .I still remember my frustrating trip to Cornell last year.

I'm more interested in individual performance. Was Fisher hinting threes? Did Friday suit up? How was the play of Smithen and Richard? Any intel on play would be nice. Seems to be an assumption that we are looking for a win or loss. The majority of us know these game are more about the logistics opposed to the W/L.

These are basically practices against other players. When playing and practicing against the same guys everyday and they know what your trying to run it gets old.
