Adam Zagoria of SNY tweeted about an hour ago that D'Arg is one of four finalists for the AD job at St. John's. Rick Cole at Iona is also one of them, as well as the ADs at Wisconsin and Marquette.
Would be interesting to see what happens here.

Why in the world would the AD at Wisconsin take the St John's job?

Why in the world would the AD at Wisconsin take the St John's job? Terry Gawlik's title is Associate AD for Sports Administration Mike Broeker's title is Deputy Athletic Director (He also happens to be a Siena grad class of '97) So the final pool is two candidates with larger school experience as Assistant AD's and two smaller school candidates with AD experience.

I hope D'Arg interviews well and gets the job.

Thanks, that makes a lot more sense.

Why in the world would the AD at Wisconsin take the St John's job? Maybe her dream is to live in NYC?

We played them in '09-10 and lost. It was part of an exempt event however.
Couldn't tell you the last time we played in a regularly scheduled OOC game.

I'd be shocked if Darg got that job-- spotty record with coaches- overall athletic dept doesnt win.

Agree with Tony, change is a necessary evil in the business world and new blood only enhances an organization. J D'arg had a great run, some of the challenges he faced were not all his doing. If he goes wish him the best. IMO Siena needs a change at that position.
