....6'3" PG from Baltimore is in town this weekend. Parents both came. Seems like the visit went really well.

I have not been a big fan of JPs recruiting but he has done a good job getting kids we could really use on campus by the end of June. Let's keep it up and hopefully sign a couple.

google his name and check out the video of the game in which he won the game with .8 seconds left on the clock against St. Francis. The kid looks good. (for such a small sample) Other online comments by coaches are very complimentary. Looks like a real nice prospect.

(for such a small sample) Other online comments by coaches are very complimentary. Looks like a real nice prospect. Terry Nolan is all around 6"3 combo guard who has huge upside. Nolan has potential to blow up this July. Has high major athleticism. He needs to continue to add strength. Jihar Williams is shooter with deep range in good size at 6"5. He was top 10 in made 3s at UAA shooting 41%. Will be a very good college player. He needs to become a better ball handler in the open court. Everette Hammond is a steady PG who can shoot and at 6"3 can play off the ball as well. Hammond had a very good spring, very good Asst to turnover ratio with 28 Asst to 6 turnovers & top 10 made 3s at UAA shooting 42%. Few A10 are high on him. He needs to become a better off ball defender. All three are getting recruited from A10, CAA, MAAC schools. If Siena gets anyone of the three they will be getting a good player and good kid. Everette also only had a 38.1% FG% and was 13 for 24 from the FT line (54%). www.theuaassociation.com/roster_players/11978646The ball control looks real good on paper but I need to see more to understand if he's a Wormley or if he's more. Shooting just 31.8% on 2pt shoots doesn't speak much to his finishing ability and his FT% brings his 42% 3pt shooting into question as well. If he only shoots FTs at that rate, can he continue to be that consistent from deep? It's all a fairly limited sample size but still.

If he shoots that well, can he continue to be that consistent from deep? He is pretty good foul shooter for the most part so I wouldn't read to much into that. He does need to improve scoring at the rim, but I think that will come once his body continues to get stronger. Also, he will be more of shooter and pull up guy then a guy that slashes to the basket.
What does Wormley have to with E. Hammond? I'm just wondering too different type players. Right now heading into July E. Hammond is right around A10 level or close. I believe some A10 schools will offer, so I think if Siena could get him it would be great get for them. Also, I think him being steady high IQ guard that he's ready to help and play from Day 1.

From the tape I've seen, I'll be very surprised if any A-10 schools offer.

"Steady, high IQ" kid I saw, but he lacked explosiveness and athleticism. A PG needs to be able to go by people. Penetrate, and create. I didn't see that in any of the tapes I watched last night.

Gotcha we will see time will tell. James Robinson started 4 years at Pitt wasn't athletic or explosive. We will see. If you can shoot and play smart with length coaches will take a hard look. Then it just comes down to the right fit.

There are impact defenders and then there are players who can defend. There are shooters and then there are players that can shoot. There are attackers and then there are players who can attack. Wormley defers by nature, is a good defender but not an impact defender, can score but is not a scorer, can attack but isn't an attacker, and can shoot but isn't a shooter. This kid seems of the Wormley mold on first glance.
