I thought Huerter was paying his way first year. Was that ever the case?

He was, then got last scholarship.
Gottfried is attending NC State, not Siena.

Clareth injured and Joseph gone. Heurter and Richard better be ready now. They are now both relevant. Makes the loss of LaRose hurt even more now.
Just scholarship 5 guards on the roster and one just had surgery. Guard poor...again.

Might not be done yet...... Can no longer blame PW for anything...Starting to feel like this staff is running our program into the ground, a lot of swing and misses on recruits and a lot of excuses recently. I just don’t get how you can be this wrong in your job and continue to get extensions, if I missed on as many opportunities as this staff I would expect to be fired, hell I hope my company would be smart enough to fire me. Maybe it turns around with this class (based on the track record not looking good), 4 ships now which means we will offer 16, sign 4, 1 of which can play, graduate 2 and run 2 others outta town.

The program was already in the ground when the staff got here. We're going to be the co-favorite to win the league this year and the program has been, "run into the ground?" lol I'm not happy we missed on the JC kid either, but at least we realized it before the season started, and he tied up a scholarship. Still a shot at getting a kid in for this year, or save it for a mid-season transfer. Starting five hasn't/won't change, and the 4 main guys off the bench (Fisher, WB, Kadeem and Kenny), with two more freshman (Huerter and Richards) to hopefully surprise sounds like a plan to me.

As a fan I am not rooting for 1 out of every 5 years to be a contender, I pay good money for my seats. We no longer bring good teams to the TUC, we settle for a road game against UA, the players and assistant coaches are a revolving door (some of them earned that) but you have to admit a lot of head scratchers recently. Look JP is better the PW no debating, and I don't have disdain for him or the staff as some, but I would like some consistency in the program and feel that it is moving in a direction to fix the mess and not just a winner every 5 years or so.

This team's overall success was never dependent on the arrival of a defensive minded Juco.
Hopefully Joseph finds a place to finish his collegiate career.

Rebuilding years are over ... Patsos should now be judged by this upcoming season & forward ... With regards to OOC games I think it is a lot tougher these days to get higher rated competition to play us (or other teams of our caliber) @home ... I'm not happy about it but that is the new world order

Hey MTS, told you the roster is fluid until school starts in September. Question - does Cam keep a ship now? Of course he does-- I told everyone Cam would be back on scholarship. Ok is Cam at Siena or not?

Just scholarship 5 guards on the roster and one just had surgery. Guard poor...again. Nico's going to be fine. He'll be better than last year not playing in pain. How many guards do you want? Wright, Nico, Smithen, Wormley and Richard - that's pretty good. LaRose still wasn't going to be playing much. Joseph is a defender - LaRose is an offensive player too totally different games. I get a kick out of some posters saying Jimmy "ran the team into the ground" - Siena has arguably the best roster or second best (if you want to put Monmouth first) in the league next year. Now it is up to him to coach them to the MAAC championship and NCAA tournament. Joseph would have been a nice arrow to have in the quiver on defense especially but it is not the end of the world.

Either Jimmy did not vet Joseph properly by the time he accepted his verbal (that would be on Jimmy) or someone at Siena (admissions?) changed its mind on Joseph (that would not be on Jimmy). I don't know which is the case so I am not killing Jimmy at this point.
There appear to be a few transfers (from programs like VCU and Richmond) who are still out there. Don't know if any of them are being pursued.
