ESPN rolling the dice on a thrilling final game. Too bad as Doug Sherman knows the league and Bilas will see this as beneath him.

How did Bilas do when it was the final between Siena and Niagara?

I don't know I was sitting behind our bench at Harbor Yard.

Glad we finally got the 7pm slot back. Pretty sure it's been 9pm on Monday night for a few years now. Great to see it's come back to the flagship station. Been on ESPN2 for a long time. No Raff sucks though...."Siena opens up..... Man-to-Man"

Speaking of media types, where was Mark Singelais last night? He wasn't covering the game. Prior commitment? Illness?

Wilkins went to Lowell to report on one sided game. Maybe Singleais was a missing good luck charm for the Saints.

Cool, not only are we on ESPN (and not "2" or "U") but we get espn's best crew. What more can we ask for (but maybe Siena in the finals)?

And people wanted to complain about all the attention the Monmouth bench drew

Pete Dougherty did a Q&A on these two. Doing the MAAC tourney championship game in the TU today. Sounds like when asked if they were interested in calling this game and they said yes, but sounds like for the Monmouth/Iona possibility. Boy won't they be surprised when it's Siena vs another team. I guess the jokes on them but they don't know it yet.

Bringing in guys who don't know, nor care about the MAAC to do the most important game of the year seems wrong.

Can you imagine the reaction of the other 10 MAAC programs if the General and Huerter called the game although they are the best broadcast team in the league
