i also found it odd... some of the attempts late seemed to be focused on getting Marquis off and or forcibly getting it inside.
- Bisping missed a few wide open jumpers late (that is tired legs
- at one point late it seemed like Oliver among others simply didnt want to take a shot
- At this point, Clareth is the most gifted scorer on the team. And it isnt close. I thought they shoulve run more stuff SPECIFICALLY for him late.
- what was with changing the defense??? Clareth manned up English incredibly well. Perhaps the team told the coach they were tired? How English got lost in the defensive assignments on that one side of the zone was unbelievable (oliver I believe). Not just Oliver but in the final 5 minutes there seemed to be a number of missed defensive assignments. Not from tired legs... perhaps mental fatigue? They were absolute BLOWN defensive assignments.
- against a team like this and Monmouth... they expose the couple remaining athletically challenged on the roster.
All does go back to ... cant let a team like that get up 21 on you.
entertaining game to say the least. A shame to come out on the short end. But deserved given the first half.
