Ryan is one of my favorite Siena players of all time.. not sure we ever had a kid come in and improve as much as Ryan did over his 4 year

What a great interview! Many of Siena's former players have spoken of the "Siena Family", but I don't think anyone has articulated it as well as Ryan. Ryan was one of our favorite players...nice to see him doing so well. Wishing him the best.

One of my all time favorites because of his work ethic and contributions. He really understood his role on the team each year and is a major reason for the team's success. Even though his freshman year was not stellar statistic wise, he did so many of the little things that mattered in a game. I'm really sorry he (and Clarence Jackson) had to endure the kind of season he had as a senior. Although there were injuries (especially CJ), I believe with a different coach they would have fared MUCH better--not the NCAA's but a winning season for sure. Yet it speaks of his character and loyalty that he was supportive of the PW's selection as coach and never said anything negative during the season. He certainly did his part--how often does a player on a losing team win POY? Anyway, congrats to this fine young man. His comments in this article were gracious and well spoken. I'm sure he will continue to be a success after his playing days are over. BTW I LOVE this series and look forward to more! Thanks Eric!

Another BTW--regarding the Legends game RyRo referred--is there going to be another one at some time in the future. I had purchased tickets for the original, but serious family illness took me out of state and I was unable to attend. When I returned I was only able to find a little bit about the game. I was under the impression it was a success and was hoping that it would become if not an annual event at least one scheduled every so often--say even every 5 years. Does anyone know if Darg or whomever is involved is planning a future Legends game. I'd sign up in a minute! (Wouldn't it be great if they could get former coaches to coach the teams too? Imagine Mike Deane vs Fran Mac!)

There was talk last fall of having a second Legends game this year (2016). There may be people at the school working on it, but I haven't talked with John about it in a while, so I can't say for sure if anything is in the works for this summer/fall, or if they want to wait another year.
