.....tonights game was his last :30 sec....lol
He hates Siena so much. If it was Stony Brook in town, he'd be on his knees blowing Hooley and Brown.

This belongs in the gutless thread. If we lose it will be lead story.

This is a perfect example of how the media doesn't report based on audience interest and facts but rather on their own agenda's.

Must be having a senior moment. I'm in Florida and didn't see the 13 sports segment (wouldn't have seen it home either as I don't watch that numbskull) that HJ is apparently referencing. Can someone elaborate on what the hell he's talking about or what Whine-land was saying? Thanks. Been scratching my head to figure it out and the sunburned area is starting to be painful.

MP, as I understand it, HJ is saying that Wyland "saved" (a/k/a buried) the Siena-Monmouth story to the end of his time, rather than leading with it.

The last thing he wants to do is give Siena any positive press. All stems from Siena dumping him as the play by play guy many years ago.

He had like 4 "stories" before he threw in that Monmouth was in town for a first-place showdown. You can bet if Stony Brook was at the SEFCU last night for a similar AE showdown, it's the LEAD story, no doubt.

This is a perfect example of how the media doesn't report based on audience interest and facts but rather on their own agenda's. I don't like to speak ill of anyone, but as a supposedly responsible television journalist, how can you ignore/overlook the fact that there were around 8,300 people at the TUC on Saturday, and another 7,000 last night to watch Siena basketball? Doesn't he.......or station managers.......have any sense of what the audience wants to see? I didn't see the TV last night after the game, but I have to believe that the other stations all led with the Siena game story, not run it last. Maybe it's time for Siena to have a heart-to-heart discussion with the management at TV-13 to let them know that their staff is no longer welcome at practices, weekly media days, post-game press conferences, and that Siena players and staff will no longer be available for interviews at any time or for appearances on certain local radio programs. Channel 13 can then focus all of its attention on reaching out to all 2,300 of those rabid Albany fans who routinely make their way to SEFCU.

Didn't McCaffery have a small " issue " with Roger back in the day ?

In the interest of having the facts correct, Rodger led the 11 p.m. sports segment with the Monmouth game, but it was the last story on the 6 p.m. sports segment per HJ.
