About time everyone realized it's the admin, not the players or coaching that affects the game. School itself not on the greatest solid ground in funding and organization. Look back 5 years program important for getting the name out their and revenue. Hate to say this time for the Franciscans to move on, keep one there for a figure head if you have to but bring in business people. Shouldn't be difficult, might even get them to volunteer. Time for the old boys club to move on.

What nonsense. Much of what you say is totally unfounded. College is not going to change its mission based upon the opinion of a basketball "fan?/"

What nonsense. Much of what you say is totally unfounded. College is not going to change its mission based upon the opinion of a basketball "fan?/" Unfortunately there is some truth to what OD is saying. it's going to get increasingly difficult to attract students as the number of U.S. college age kids decreases. If you do not have a sound business model or are capable of adapting there will be severe financial problems for those schools who remain static. The realty of the situation is that it goes far beyond 1 "fans" opinion.

C What nonsense. Much of what you say is totally unfounded. College is not going to change its mission based upon the opinion of a basketball "fan?/" Siena continues to have operational issues due to finances. Saint Rose, who has a brad program is what 9 million in the hole. Do not forget though Siena is known for it business and med, science programs they are still classified as a liberal arts college. Those liberal art degrees are not going to cut it in the future. As I stated 5 years ago the program was strong, national exposure, admissions up, attendance all time high, I can only assume they were generating revenue or at least breaking even. With the program at high level it paid for itself plus brought good will which is not calculable The college has been facing financial challenges, time for change. Candidly I graduated from the business end. Did well retired and know many grads who operate in the business sector. We were taught well that the status quo never survives. Change is inevitable. ge
