I don't believe our fans are at the top of Siena's list of priorities.

agree with both of you-- and probably a big reason why attendance has been going down like a nuclear powered submarine last 5 years

Unfortunately when your season ticket holders average age is in their 70's, over the course of 5 years you are going to lose alot of them and not by their choice.

If you also haven't had a winning record in 5 years...

Oh, to be appreciated for yourself and not the dollar value to the college and TUC.

If you also haven't had a winning record in 5 years... all the above play into falling attendance

If you also haven't had a winning record in 5 years... Real fans don't abandon ship after 5 down years. The casual or bandwagon fan might find other options for entertainment.

Siena is lucky if they have 2K die hards left-- use to have 3K or so , but many have died off- probably have another couple hundred that aren't fans that just go to game to drink beer-- thank God for casual or as you say bandwagon fans- if not for them Bob Beyer or Lanier would still be coach

And yet they are approx 80th nationally in attendance. Win and that goes up with an increase in the casual fan. That's who they have lost over the past 5 yrs

They aren't endearing themselves with the long time season ticket base when they offer season tickets at $70. True they are in the corner but, unless the TUC employs part-time TSA agents as aisle monitors, many of those $70 seats will be cold while the "should-be-empty" seats in the center sections will be filled!

Only have missed maybe 15-20 games since Siena has played at the Knick.Opted out before Lanier firing;Even though our group attended all the games the following year.About to opt out with Mitch at the helm until his dismissal.I love the SAINTS but will not support a program that has no regard for fans by making bad choices in coaching matters although Lanier was a top-notch recruiter but a not so good game manager.GO SAINTS!!

I have not lived in the area for about 20 years(NYC) but I would drive up on the day/night of a game and drive back that same day/night, as to not miss work for almost all home games. I can't and will not do that for a program that does not care as much as its fans do. Show me your willing to do everything to be successful, I'm right their with you.
