Congrats to Brett for being recognized nationally "for his elite academic prowess"! Edited 7/31/15 to add link. m.sienasaints.com/m/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/073015aaa.htmlJimmy headed to Kuwait to coach active service members in an event there. 4guysinblazers.com/aboutAnyone know if Just-In-Love Smith is there? I know I've seen him at the local Guilderland Y playing ball but that was a year or two ago. It's cool Jimmy does this kind of stuff. Not sure you could get me to visit Kuwait.

I heard a rumor that this website is being pushed to get shut down. I really hope that is not the case.

I heard a rumor that this website is being pushed to get shut down. I really hope that is not the case. Nope - we don't live in Pakistan this is still America. Nothing is getting shutdown. It was a tweet from the asshole soup. He is a troublemaker full of shit. SienaSoup sienasoup Jul 28
Sounds like Tony has his hands full with the Siena Admin and AD with respect to www.sienahoops.com - they're trying to get it shutdownWhat a loser this guy is. The only thing that should be shutdown is his repugnant twitter account which is vile. This turd is obsessed with this board and I question if he's really even a Siena fan. It is slow on the board because we're in the dog days of summer - not a lot going on right now with the team. It is probably the slowest time of the year. Hopefully we'll be hearing about recruiting visits soon.

Hahaha another "gem" from out friend Soup- that has as much validity as Soup's Statement on how Tommy Huerter was pissed at Siena because Jimmy wouldn't take Kevin's verbal because he wasn't good enough for Siena- in fact kevin isnt even a mid major player according to Soup..LOL.. you guys have to stop falling for his bait-
Getting back to this board, Siena ( or the Siena AD) couldn't shut this board down if they wanted to, this board is independent from Siena

By the way Soup is a CW Post grad who uses Siena to get attention. His background has more lies than a Tom Brady deposition.

I thought it was odd that there weren't any posts, to any category, in the couple days before I posted. For me, that's like going thru withdrawals.
"Hi, my name is IndianSaint, and I'm a Sienaholic."
There, that felt good to get off my chest.

Following marist men's basketball has made me an alcoholic . Hey! At least you can joke about it. Seriuosly, though...I would like to see your program come back as a contender. Marist is a natural rival being just about a` hour away. Can you give us a brief rundown of who you have returning and who's coming in? And, though he did great at Williams, do you honestly see Maker as up to the task at D1?

He is basically of the thought 90 percent offense, 10 percent defense. I like his focus on layups or 3's, avoid the mid range jumpshots. However, with the level of athletes on the D1 level, the focus on making layups during practice seems a bit overdone in my view. He likes bigs that can shoot the 3, I like that. In terms of returning players, Hart, Lawrence, Truog, Mcleghahan are returning starters. I think KJ Lee will start as well. Bench returnees are Momah, Griffin, Brooks. Which basically means their bench might be the worst in the history of D2 basketball, let alone D1. Need big time improvement from Momah. I like the newcomers, especially Brian Parker.

Like you said, thats ok in D3 if you can recruit prolific scorers but different story in D1.

Yankee, Your analysis of Maker makes him out to be the next Joe Mihalich in the MAAC.

My reference was Mihalich's penchant for his teams playing very poor defense. That now has the Hofstra fans up in arms.
