I still cant wrap by head around why JO is leaving - especially when this kid is starting! And I'm kinda pissed when Siena bent over backwards for this kid both on and off the court! Please share with us what extrordinary actions Siena took, while bending over backwards, in regards to JO? I'm pissed that the Siena climate is not now one that he wants to stay in but you are pissed at him - sad! Not only did he start, he was also seen as well worth the investment afforded by last year's foreign trip - there is no way he should have felt threatened relating to his PT or starting role.

I have to think Siena and the Siena community do a lot for most players on and off the court. BTW-,with Garrett gone who is making sure certain players get go class? Jimmy is likely doing that job now! Probably why he wasn't going to the Final Four - Ha! Kids must be going to class as there were no other players on the floor when the pics of Imoh and Brett were shown working on their games. Amazing how current Siena maintains its web pages - Garrett is no longer included on the roster. They need to hire a PhotoShop expert to create the other vacant positions. I'm wondering if Jimmy stayed home to try and keep the remaining "team" intact? Odd that Mister Party Time would pass up a schmoozing trip to "In the Anapolis" (thank you Charles).

I wouldn't know the reason but that definitely does seem odd for a personality like him to miss the final 4

I would hope that the reason for staying home involves recruiting and locking up some transfers.

I completely agree but this is a tall order. His demeanor and the defeatist antics (IE the Davidson stunt and sitting in the stands boil down to a defeatist act) are the reasons why I never wanted him here. I was told that his players all loved playing for him, and he wouldn't pull stunts at Siena. The first part is obviously not true, the second part isn't true either considering he has turned us into Loyola north and thinks the program is no different than UAlbany. I believe that it is only a matter of time before an incident goes viral; we already know the refs sure don't enjoy his act. As much as people are sick of me doubting Jimmy, I am sick of the apologists picking apart all of our players' faults, whether they are still playing for us or not. Good coaches win, and bad coaches have a lot of excuses. Nothing has happened so far that leads me to believe that year three will be any different than years one and two. Unfortunately I agree ..I keep waiting for Jimmy to prove me wrong, and so far he has been consistent in his Loyola North approach ( which basically makes him 500 Jimmy, mediocre Jimmy etc) So far he hasn't raised his game one iota. I am willing to give him next year- I'm not holding my breath , I am hoping for best but have very little confidence we see any changes in Jimmy's coaching, demeanor, recruiting scheduling To be fair, the schedule next year is improved, (admittedly the tournament helps), and recruiting at least on paper, which is all we have to go on at this time, seems to have improved with a couple of 3* recruits with a transfer or two still possible. The bottom line is winning is the only solution. I'm not sure all here will be happy with merely winning, certainly most will be, but there seems to be some who just want Patsos gone regardless of win/losses. So be it, to each their own. I'm happy with the winning thing.

I was told some years ago that it is correctly referred to as "India, No Place" but that might be out of date.

Jimmy's very religious, and the new Indiana law that just got passed conflicts with his outlook on life.

We have the best fan base and the TUC plus a proud 50 year divided I history. Is it wrong to want the best because we could/should be the best.

]To be fair, the schedule next year is improved, (admittedly the tournament helps), Truth be told Schedule isnt that much better -- Dont like the tournament at all-- Jimmy basically sold Siena for 4 road games for 90K -- much better tournaments to get into than this- if Siena loses the two road games to low majors in Rhode island the tournament will be a disaster

One other thing in regards to JO transfer- Sometimes it’s not the head coach’s fault. A lot of factors went into JO’s transfer - Sorry to see him go, I wish him the best and as long as Jimmy says 5 hail Mary’s and 3 Our Father’s I will absolve him – Bottom line don’t read too much into transfer , no big secret here like JO couldn’t stand Jimmy.. Worried about playing time etc – a lot of factors went into decision – many of them beyond head coach’s control

Recruiting has improved, but not enough. It will take winning to move the meter here. I get it.

Of course I'm entitled to my opinion( thanks for that newflash)I don't want to see scheduled dumb downed at all- if I want to see a low major schedule I'll watch Albany- Next year we lose 2- a10 teams and replace them with 2 guarantee games- we play 2 AE teams- 2 PL teams- Bryan ( are they NEC?) Radford big South- So yeah like I said in my first post before you tried patronizing me the schedule is slightly better- but nowhere near a good schedule and for you to try to spin it like it is..well lets just say its the height of hypocrisy I actually like our recruiting class on paper, I wont make final judgment till I see them- so again other than some over the top patronizing not sure what that comment even has to do with my post?
