Seriously ugly game for the Saints. Don't even know where to start. Wow.

I'm sure the board will blame Jimmy for this second half ass kicking. Bottom line - not to make excuses - but injuries have pretty much ruined our season at least the OOC version. No reason to rush Lavon back the "new" season starts Jan. 2 at Fairfield. We really are 1-1 .... it's ALL about the MAAC. Bucknell might as well be an exhibtion game.
8 guys..Two frosh - White gives you nothing on offense. And Poole is in a major slump - we will not win with him shooting 2 for 12.
We play hard but wore out in the second half..not enough horses. Cornell was more athletic - we simply need more athletes. Our margain for error is small and being this hurt means we're in big trouble. Jimmy has his work cut out for him during the season and in the off season recruiting more talent.

Flipping the switch on January 2nd. Can't wait.

The most encouraging thing that happened tonight was Jimmy went on the radio and said that this was the most injury plagued team he has ever had in 25 years of coaching. For someone like myself who doesn't necessarily believe in no accountability in this area it is cause for optimism :-)

Can it kill us to play Cam next Sunday? He can't shoot any worse than the guys we're running out there now. Two things can happen:
1) he pulls a Robbie Benson and makes us all look silly
2) he proves on a big stage that the scholarship fairy isn't coming next year.
No harm here. Only thing we got left is a "Lanier-like" run at the end of the year, so turn over every stone.

I think Javion would be 3rd big on the team behind bisping then Silas. He's way too soft, can't even rebound or finish in traffic. He's serviceable for now though Well, that's certainly possible. But its not what people who saw off season work outs and the preseason, or the head coach thought. Again, hindsight is wonderful. OR Jimmy sees JO as "his" kid, and Silas as Mitchs? He had no choice but to start Bisping, and he improved. Took him a long time to give Oliver a chance and he came thru. He chopped Hymes minutes down significantly. I always thought Silas was a better option. JO can't finish, and please, just once, DUNK THE BALL inside. I think we were all looking forward to seeing if Imoh "got it" for his senior year, and limited his fouling so he could be on the floor 20 min a game.

Can't win a game with this roster--- at least when lavon comes back the scores will be respectable. If he can't go might as well play all the walk ons -- keep the players we have fresh for the "games that matter".

Preseason we were all mocking Cornell. Courtney has some athletes and Miller is quite a player.

Preseason we were all mocking Cornell. Courtney has some athletes and Miller is quite a player. I wouldn't say "mocked" them but a disappointment in the schedule - which turned out to be "too tough" and not "too weak" sadly. Cornell is a good example of what losing players can do. They are probably around a .500 team maybe slightly better. Last year they won 1 D1 game without Miller and Cancer. Two players the difference between being one of the worst teams in D1 and being a competent team. We lose 4 of our projected top 8 players and we go from a potential 20 win team to a potential 10 win team (and those hurt don't include the PG the most important position on the floor). Andy Grazulis said it last night this isn't football when you have 80 guys. You lose half of your main playing rotation you're pretty much screwed.
