Never too early to get started! Joe Girard III, an 8th grader at Glens Falls, averaging almost 20ppg early. Has been winning national 3 point and free throw competitions since about 3rd grade.

Does the modified team play a Foothills Council schedule, or something even softer?

Siena better be focusing on the next couple of years and bring in Platek, K.Huerter, Mack or Holmes. We need to get at least one of them, if not more than one.

Why? He's the leading scorer on the varsity team. That's fairly impressive. It's extremely impressive. Last week the Post Star had an excellent piece about him, his dad, the former St Mary's, Shen, and LeMoyne star of the same name, and his grandfather, the long time coach. Great basketball family.

Dad was inducted into CD Basketball HOF in 2012 with several other players/coaches connected with Siena family

Girard is certainly one to watch. But it's still tough to project an 8th grader. Jordan Stevens was one of the leading scorers in the Suburban Council as an 8th grader, but only ended up at Holy Cross.
