That is a nice pick-up for the Bobcats. They needed another guard losing both Shannons. Drame, Heart, Chandler and this kid on paper are all pretty good. More I think about it Quinnipiac, Manhattan and St. Peter's might all pose more problems than the Gals if they don't sign someone. Hard to win a MAAC title with three players even really good ones (but not all-American ones either).
The MAAC might not be as good as last year but still should be really competitive.

As long as Quinnipiac has Scotty Burrell as it's top recruiter, they'll be contenders every year.
ps--MD. transfer Nick Faust pulled back on his Oregon St commitment, and mentioned Siena as one of five schools he's re-considering.

Taylor Bessick is coming in for a visit later this month also. No way we get both of them and probably a long-shot to get either because of the lack of openings. Still it is good to see Siena once again recruiting with the names Bessick and Faust are connected with!

HJ, While I don't doubt what you say is true, it is more than that. As I said last spring, the school is committed. Seven years after turning D1, Q was fighting for a national championship (with Union) in hockey. I know it is a little different, but these guys are real from top to bottom. I have no doubt King Rice and Company down on the shore are no less committed. Like Siena, they had no seniors this past year, and after a year in the MAAC they had 4 guys transfer out, making room for more "MAAC-level" replacements. Stay tuned A-10.
