Word got I got Siena is still interested. He'd be a freshman in Marquis sr. year and Wormley a soph. The possibility is there. 1 pg every 2 years is the plan You know what's better than 2 PGs? 3 PGs. No one ever complained 'oh no! I have too many point guards!'. Just doesn't happen.

I know this young man well. He is one of the best guards in his class. If he were taller we would not have a shot. Now they are looking for the best fit. His Nike Elite showcase team won a major tournament last summer

Is he a pass first point or scoring/combo guard?

You have to keep recruiting and continue to aim higher. Siena was in a tough spot the past couple years. Patsos came in and had no time. He brought in Loyola recruits that fit his system. Time to continue to raise the bar and make use of some Siena advantages.

I think Patsos will use Siena's advantages to get top players especially after he continues to build the program back up. However Long, Wright and White all are or have the potential to be elite players. They were recruited to Loyola but off Loyola going to the NCAA tournament. I wouldn't say they were typical Loyola level players - they were clearly better than that. On paper Brandwijk, Paige, Fisher and Wormley all look pretty solid. Cole appears to be an impact transfer.

Not quite what I meant but since you bring it up... your comment it's a slight on Etherly, Cormier, Drummond, Barney, Harvey among others. They were all very good players. Our young bucks have a ways to go before we are saying they are equal to or above those players. If any of those players is a surprise get for loyola it may have been Wright as he was Maryland POY etc. I do agree on Brandwijk, Fisher and Im hoping wormley is an undiscovered gem.

We don't need another PG, we need a combo that can score in bunches off the bounce. A smaller type (6'2"), becasue we don't have that dimension.

You must have missed the "score in bunches" requirement I'm looking for? Wormley isn't a scorer. Sounds like asolid floor general interested in setting up his teammates. Welcomed addition. But, I want a kid like the Perez from Canisius last year. Strong, versatile scorer that we can count on off the bench to give us 10 quick points in a half. We'll need some scoring pop when we lose Poole and Hymes. I don't care if it's a BCS transfer with at least two years, and he realized he went too high.

Looks much different against someone else

I love the rest of the guys, but we need another proven scorer after we lose those two in order to get to the NEXT level.
