Not many offers for him and the offers he does have are low level. Has good size but an awkward release. Not sure why we are going after another 2g when our bigger issue is a SF and a center but you can never have enough shooters!

Over the past few months one of the biggest breakout players in the country has been combo guard Kevin Huerter '16, and if your looking for another talented guard who can play a number of positions on the floor you don't have to look far as older brother Thomas Huerter (Cheshire Academy, CT '16) is turning into a good looking prospect in his own right.
M. Libert Thomas Huerter The Huerter brothers paired at Shenendehowa H.S. this past season to lead the Plainsmen to New York State Class "AA" Championship and Thomas was a major factor in the teams playoff run, including being Shen's leading scorer in the Federation Semifinal loss to Wings Academy.
While Kevin has been making a big name for himself on the Nike EYBL circuit with City Rocks, Thomas has been playing AAU ball with a few different teams, landing with Middlesex Magic based out of Massachusetts, shining this past weekend at the Basketbull Summer Championships where he showed he is a clear Division 1 prospect as well with his ability to shoot it from the perimeter, while also taking it strong to the rim.
Since the end of the H.S. season, Huerter says he has worked on fine tuning his jump shot, but he adds that he primarily has been working on his body, hitting the weight room a lot as well as working on his jumping and his quickness, wanting to be able to play both the 2 and 3 spots on the next level.
He recently picked up his first Division 1 offer from Siena. It's a school Huerter is familiar with as his father, Tom Huerter, was a former player for the Saints and is currently apart of the Siena broadcast team, but Thomas says that regardless of his dads relationship with the school, he is building the bond with the coaching staff there on his own.
"It's a great relationship I have with them," Huerter explained. "We have talked before through my dad, but since they are now recruiting me they have started to text and call me a lot and I really am getting to know a lot more about them."
With his first offer now in hand, Huerter is going to work more on the physical and mental side of the game as he will be taking his talents to Cheshire Academy, a NEPSAC power in Connecticut in hopes of becoming even more prepared for the college game.
If working out harder than ever isn't enough, he still has his baby brother Kevin to push him as well. There is no jealousy between the two brothers as Thomas says he is happy for all the attention that Kevin has been getting as of late, believing he deserves all the offers he has been receiving and that it just motivates him to reach that level of success as well.
The two brothers are still together a lot, playing games of one on one in the yard together as they both look bound for Division 1 schools, but as to who gets the better end of those games, Huerter smiled and said he is better off keeping that to himself.
"We have some pretty fiery matches that's for sure but I am not going to say who wins."

Siena offers 5'3" guard Darnell Rodgers. Plays for team CP3 Aau. His team was on espn last weekend in the eybl peach jam. A very small guard but got wherever he wanted on the court and in the lane and lightning fast.

I think his dad is Shawnta Rogers If that's his dad ( who played at GW) his Dad was one of the top 10 players I ever saw at TUC -- and one of the most fun to watch, he was crazy good. I believe he was A10 player of the year , the season he and GW came into TUC ( then Pepsi) and look at him standing next to one of our own /photo/1
