I agree Fordham has been a joke, but this new guy has 3 3 star recruits in his first recruiting class, so he obviously has an eye for talent Either that or he knows how to read espn. The number rankings on ESPN are BS. Always have been. What site do you find to be the most reliable? (Really asking not being a smartass)

Either that or he knows how to read espn. The number rankings on ESPN are BS. Always have been. What site do you find to be the most reliable? (Really asking not being a smartass) To be honest, it is unrealistic to put a number or star rating on players unless you're gonna review them all and compare them equally. And then each kid has a different style...so how do you really compare? I don't think it is physically possible to do. I think that the write up of ESPN and other sites can give you hints to their game. I completely ignore the number and star rating of every site and look at the stats, the video, and the write-ups. If the stats agree with what I see in video and the write-ups, you know pretty well what you're getting. Sometimes a write up could be based on just one game. And sometimes stats and highlight videos don't tell the whole story. The more you see the better. Marquis Wright, for example, had all of this information and it was easy to figure out his game. All 4 years of stats were out there for him and plenty of video showing his physical tools. All he is doing in college is what he already did in HS. He was one of the easier recruits to project. No surprises whatsoever good or bad. I think Nico Clareth is a decent shooter, not great, but decent. I think that he's just inconsistent partly because he forces shots at times and needs to be coached on shot selection. He shot 40% from three junior year, then 29% in AAU, and we don't know about senior year but it sounds like he played well. He is an all around talent for sure for a number of reasons but one that still needs to be refined. If Jimmy reigns him in right, he could ride this kid a long way. How he shoots the 3 this year will have a big affect on Siena's upside. Wormley is a lot tougher to gauge cause there's less video and stats on him. All I know is some of the video I've seen and that he shoots sub 70% from the FT line. My initial instincts on his game match what the ESPN writeup says to the letter...so now I'm thinking what I saw is what we get. And that could be ok...especially now that he's 6-4. And who knows, maybe he's improving his shot and finishing ability and can be even better than expected. You just never know with anybody for sure until the games start. There's really no way to know for sure

As has been said no excuses this year including not being able to find players after the way these two scholarships were used.

Can't say you couldn't find a better prospect for the last ship when there is a player in your backyard.

Or whoever Fordham signs.....they're really good. Last time they played in the postseason was when they were lucky enough to win the powerful Patriot League in '91

Kinnon is much, and I mean much, smarter when it comes to the game, and can shoot better. Ray plays better defense, and Kinnon is a better rebounder and passer. I saw them play against each other, and like I said before, Kinnon was the best player on the floor. The only people that would dispute that are related to Ray. Kinnon went to prep school this year, he'd get half a dozen scholarship offers too.

Ray and Kinnon care same age and school class. The Rocks coaching staff also played Ray ahead of Kinnon for two years. My point can't use excuse that you can't find a player for last ship that will contribute. We could had both.

Kinnon STARTED OVER Ray for the City Rocks, and thats why he quit and played elswhere. Kinnon started in the backcourt with Taplin last year for the CR. Check it out. I didn't see Jimmy make any excuses he couldn't find any players?? Where'd you see that? Just because he didn't take a couple kids that people out here liked, doesn't mean that. I'm convinced this will be Cams last year here anyway. He won't play. He gets 2 more free years, and I'll join you in being pissed off.

Artilce on Anthoiny Lamb. No mention of our Saints, but he does seem to like Rice, Stetson, and Quinny:
As one of the top performers of the Nike EYBL Peach Jam qualified Albany City Rocks squad, 6'6" forward Anthony Lamb (Greece Athena '16) has become one of the more talked about prospects throughout the state of New York and with his production has come new offers and even a recent unofficial visit.
M. Libert Anthony Lamb Lamb, who was playing and shining with City Rocks at the Rumble in the Bronx this past weekend down in NYC, admitted that he has been fighting nagging injuries throughout the EYBL season but that he never uses anything as an excuse and just goes out and does what he does best.
"I have had some minor nagging injuries between EYBL sessions which held me back a bit but I felt I did what I had to do," Lamb said about his performances.
What he went out and did was become one of the top rebounders on the circuit, and really a double-double machine who dominated the paint, even though he is smaller than much of the competition he faces, he says that the motivation to perform against the high quality competition, and especially rebound, is always there.
"If I have someone telling me that some guy I am about to play is a Top 25 guy or something then yeah that always helps you go even a little harder," Lamb admitted. "I will always try and go out and outrebound everyone, every time I go out because that is easy to do in my eyes so long as the effort is there."
The effort seems to always be unquestionable about Lamb as he is always giving it 110% each time he steps on the floor and that seems to be why he is piling up the offers.
Just lately Lamb says he has added offers from Rice, Quinnipiac, Robert Morris, and Stetson, and while in the NYC area this weekend he took an unofficial visit to a school that offered a couple months back and is hot on his trail.
"I went to visit Hofstra on last Friday," Lamb said. "It was nice. It was a nice campus and I enjoyed what I saw."
Lamb went on to admit that he foresees visits to Rice and Stetson after the AAU season and possibly Quinnipiac as well, though no list or favorites have been named he said and everything is subject to change.
A Peach Jam title is something Lamb says he is hoping for going into what will be his senior season with Greece Athena, and while the other 4 starters this past season with the Trojans have now graduated, Lamb says that just provides him more motivation to keep working hard on his game to try and bring another Sectional title back to G-A.
"I lost basically everyone who was on my team from last season so I got to work even harder to build up my skills and bring back another sectional title."

Yeah, he probably dropped us after he watched Canisiis beat us pretty bad (that was the game Poole & Long were out in addition to Brett & Imoh).
He probably didn't understand we were missing 3 or 4 starters that game.

Don't fret, I'm pretty sure we're still very much involved.
