The big kid (#45 in red) that got screened off Lamb for the dunk is finishing his freshman year at St. Rose.

Anthony Lamb and his family were at the Canisius (away) game this year as guest of Baron and Co. Oddly, they sat right in front of a group of Siena Fans (me included). Canisius really wants him, I am told from someone in their AD.

Lamb would be a really good get to start off the 2016 class.

Kids want playing time Whoever or where he assumes he can get time that institution has a good shot. Hence Wolfe transfer going forward limited playing time

I'm sure that I just missed it some place, what position is Lamb projected to play in college?

This TUC, Siena advantage stuff has to stop. Look at the recruits all the other teams are brining in. It's the coaches, the style of play and playing time that brings kids to the table. Oh and the 0 students for some home games must be really impressive to recruits.
This program is at a real crossroads here, Patsos has the keys to the castle, when long time fans talk about not renewing season tickets things are bad. If there is another year in the crapper there is a chance of a real "Program Wrecking " going to happen.
A winning season is more than critical next year.
Go Saints! Really really go!

He's just a player. Interchangable. Does a lot of things well. Can rebound with the bigs, can handle on the perimeter, make the occasional 20 ft'er. He'll be a tough match-up for other teams.

Seems like the type of kid that has traditionally done well in MAAC

Really really go! racer agree with some of your points. students well most other MAAC schools avg 600-1k, play in venues worst than HS gyms. That does mean something to recruits. Think about JP hands are tied. People disagree with me, but nice guys finish last. This is a business and if you don't want to use the same rules as your competitor than you will loose. I graduated from Siena, did very well for myself, was successful. But I was in the private sector where it was dog eat dog. Old saying the meek shall inherit nothing. You want D1 than compete. You want to be PC, nice guy than go D2 or lower D1. Yeah than watch revenue and your endowment drop due to contributions. Le the nice good people run the PC perspective but get them out of the business operations end.
