It may have to do with where you get the internet. I also use cablevision as my internet provider which blocked espn3 for the first two years of the contract. This yearI tried to see if I could log in through my phone and found the the Dolan empire had resolved whatever concerns there had been previously. I wish you luck.

I like the espn3 product but if Siena is not on board than it's just another reason to get out.

Espn "the Tres"is ok for occasional games but the goal for the league should be a cable Channel that is not online only- be it MSG, SNY,, Espnu - etc.- the Trey is apoor choice -especially for our league tournament where u want to market the league and teams to a broader audience

Not sure if ESPN 3 is a good option for Siena- let’s face it the only people that will view ESPN3 are die hard MAAC fans. And judging by MAAC attendance not very many of them. Siena is much better off (more exposure) with TW sports. You are not going to get a bar say ohhh Marist Quinny is on ESPN 3 tonight- but you might get them to turn to TW sports for a Siena game. From a selfish POV it might be good for Siena fans. Have our home games on TW sports( and I’m there in person anyway) and our away MAAC games on ESPN3. Smart move by Siena to stay away from MAAC TV package ( not sure why Niagara and Quinny are not part of it) Just one of many reasons why Siena’s interest is different than many of the low attendance MAAC schools

I have an Apple TV and E3 is awesome via that device. I watch on my 51" like it was an HD cable feed.
There are issues as noted above but I have to say, the feed on E3 is WAY WAY WAY better than individual school feeds. If schools like SPU want to stay in the league, they need to offer legit video feeds. This year was better for SPU but the bar was pretty low. Last year there weren't even announcers and the kid running the cam needed to pan to the scoreboard every few minutes so you could see the clock and score.
Putting the feeds on E3 would enforce some level of quality. I know some schools don't have big budgets but let's be realistic - if you can't afford a decent stream then maybe D1 hoops isn't in the cards for you.
Truly, I do recommend a streaming device such as Roku or the Apple TV. It is way easier than plugging in a laptop and the quality is great. My Apple TV is fed off my home wireless even and the quality of video is awesome.

Glen, How do you get E3 off of your AppleTv? I can get E2 and U, but not E3, have to watch that on my laptop.
