Wish I could "like" this 10 times. I'd be curious to see if he led the country in this category or not. I don't remember a game without a Bisping drawn charge. Lavon gets a lot too. Wonder how many he would have gotten if they hadn't changed the rules on block/charge calls this year?

I knew Brett was the real Deal. I am so happy for him. He let his game speak. Big Strong rebounder that can shoot.

Persoanlly I think if any of the freshmen get much time next year they are going to have to be very very good. Brett obviously played great , as did Poole, Long, Wright – and if Brett is the most improved player in country – Ryan Oliver isn’t far behind, he is another that just keeps getting better the more he plays—and as for Maurice- he might be the unsung hero of this championship. We don’t win it without him, he was the spark on the road and he gave us a nice lift today- kid is so damn tough. JO had his moments and he is looooong … it is going to be tough for a freshmen to break into playing group -- and I hope they do- it will mean they are a really good player I agree about Mo, love his game/attitude. I hope he's happy here and sticks it out because I don't want to read about his success some where else.

Brett as a wee lad doing all the things we've now come to love. Notice the "charge party" starting at around the 8 minute mark.

a 42 inch vertical and 7 foot wing span is a pretty good start He's quicker and gets up better than Bisping for sure. Just saying it's not like Wolfe athleticism or anything. It's not like anyone on Vermont either

Can Brett work with JO over the summer to teach him to 'dunk'? Or to get a little mean or something. (Going down a dangerous road here ), but with the build on him he could be a nasty presence in the middle. Sitting closer in some of these CBI games, I was amazed at the width of his shoulders.

Not unusual for a freshmen to have problems with that, I expect JO and Wolfe to be among players that make biggest sophomore jumps next season- at MAAC level you seldom get bigs that are ready their freshmen year- almost all of them require a year or so in weight room

But there was a point yesterday where JO was right under the basket pretty much alone (think someone found him with a nice pass) and he could have slammed it down fierce. I know it can go the other way (miss the dunk like Fresno did once) and it looks even worse, so I guess he played it safe.

its a confidence and strength issue-- trust me JO gets up close to foot higher than Brett..how many dunks did Brett have last year? At the MAAC level it takes big men a year or two to develop-in entire history of MAAC you can count on one hand how many impact big men ( guys 6'8" or taller) we have had

As JO gets stronger he will finish with authority... he will also corral some of those rebounds he loses. JO does have a good eye for the ball coming off the rim but sometimes loses them due to strength issues

it also is pretty apparent that this is really becoming Brett's team............he is a quiet leader (not a high energy in your face type), but the players look to him and he keeps control out there on the court amid the chaos that can develop............he also handles himself very well off the court and in terms of presenting a positive image for the school when in the media spotlight!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am ecstatic for Brett with the season he put up. I also feel that Siena showed well against Manhattan, Iona, Quinny, Fresno, Ill. St., La Salle, and Purdue; all teams I consider athletic.
