Just looking at some stats, in the last 13 games he has scored 95 points (little more than 7 per game) ... he had scored 65 points in the 23 games prior to that. I believe the Saints are 10-3 over that stretch.
It is his emergence off the bench, both providing some scoring and being a calming force on the floor, that has the Saints where they are right now.

Only 17 turnovers on the season is what has been most impressive to me.

Ryan has played great. He is a smart kid who has improved leaps and bounds. And he has a penchant for knocking down big shots. He has major "stones".

Only 17 turnovers on the season is what has been most impressive to me. I agree. It seemed like last year he really couldn't handle the ball too well. Even at the beginning of this year, he was very hesitant. Now, he's basically the backup PG. What a turnaround.

Ryan always had it in him....he just needed to get it to the surface. It was a difficult and introspective decision for him to stay after MB was let go. The program he had dissed Fairfield for was in a total downward spiral, but he loved the community and the Siena family, which ultimately made the difference in his staying. Not really knowing what was in store when JP was hired led to another period of self reflection and finally, implementing a plan to make himself a value added member of this team. I am so proud and happy for him!

Only 17 turnovers on the season is what has been most impressive to me. He had just 13 turnovers the entire year as a starter at NMH. He's just now showing everyone what his game always was. Meet Ryan Oliver. Still waiting for him to reach his career HS 3 pt shooting percentage of 42%.

I knew Oliver would be a solid contributor after watching him in the summer. I saw the skills he is displaying. He only lacked confidence and opportunity. I admire his maturity that allowed him to weather the storm.

if he hadn't gone through that bad knee injury it was very likely that he would have ended up at Eugene OR to play for the Ducks!!!!!!!!!!!

To borrow a line from KK "Ryan Oliver for President!"

Actually, KK has been known to refer to Ryan as G.O.D. (not telling him that for sure, but he would laugh)

Remember, when Ryan Oliver searches for weapons of mass destruction, he finds them, in the mirror.

He has grown so much and all it is CONFIDENCE in his game. He's a big wing and rebounds well, and we all know he has range on his jumper. Great family, and I'm glad things turned the right way for him. He should have a couple of great seasons left in him!

Ryan Oliver is a Guard. He is our backup at the pg position which added to his minutes. He is one of if not our best 3pt shooter. Patsos loves big guards and that is exactly what Oliver is. This team is big strong and versatile. We have a balanced scoring attack and that will only improve with the new additions and Cole. Very dangerous team that will cause problems for opponents going forward
