Local Announcer Andrew Catalon's regrettable phrase

I was watching this game and missed the phrase live, but I heard him apologize for it twice later on: the first one was a very haphazard "I'm sorry if anyone was offended", not "I'm sorry for what I said". The producers must have told him that wasn't good enough because later he said "My SINCEREST apologies".
