RPI Bracket.pdf (268.77 KB) KenPom.pdf (268.75 KB) This is for Gorvy, lol. I filled out two brackets, one using straight up RPI Picks, the other using KenPom. Honestly, the results are pretty boring - there are virtually zero first round upsets, outside of the 8/9 game. And even where there is a big difference between the two indexes on a certain team, that team is usually a 7 or 8 seed, and therefore is outranked by the 1 or 2 they face in the round of 32, and meet their demise anyways. There is only a one team difference in the Sweet 16's. The RPI bracket looks a lot more like the one I actually filled out, only I certainly didn't have Villanova winning their region... I realize this proves absolutely nothing, just having some fun with it. Fun time of year, enjoy it folks! For those who don't like click bait, here's the Final Fours of each: KenPom: Arizona, Florida, Louisville, Virginia - Finals: Florida, Louisville. Champion: Louisville RPI: Arizona, Florida, Villanova, Whichita St. - Finals: Arizona, Florida. Champion: Florida May the block/charge call be forever in your favor...

Kenpom was 13/16 in day 1. RPI 12/16 (they had Colorado ranked higher than Pitt, which is unfortunate bc if you knew Spencer Dinwiddie was out for the year, you knew they had virtually zero chance in that game).
Of course, KenPom has Louisville as the #1 ranked team, so that bracket almost went South REAL quick yesterday! (Arizona was #1 for the majority of the end of the season, but their loss to UCLA in the PAC12 finals caused them to fall a little).
Yesterday was a RIDICULOUS day of basketball. So much fun. Hope you all fared well in your brackets, sticking with the mid-majors where applicable :-)
