MoMo, Latham, White, and now Lindsey. You'd have a hard time convincing me the NCAA doesn't have it in for Siena.

These transfers getting to play right away make no sense after Gomis and Silas loose a year of eligibility on a technicality !!!!!

And they give Billy Baron a waiver after he has transferred TWICE. The NCAA says Up Yours Siena.

I have had the same feeling, but I just cannot fathom why the NCAA would have it in for lil ol Siena. We were one of the first schools to legitimize the concept of a 64 team tourney, and the relative minor national successful the school has had was done the "right" way. Unless the people making these decisions are closet Rider fans, I have to chalk it up to coincidence, bad luck and/or unfortunate circumstances.

Siena hasn't applied for a hardship waiver in recent memory. The NCAA gives those out fairly freely.
Imoh and Lio's situation fell under a different NCAA rule. Both of them took 6 years to finish high school... which is something that the NCAA wants to crack down on. Siena gambled that the NCAA would be reasonable and realize that the rule shouldn't apply to two guys who both moved to this country from Africa and needed to learn the English language while in high school. From what I've heard, both are great students. But the NCAA just sees 6 years and says it's not allowed.
It sucks, but it's not motivated out of animus. It's just overly bureaucratic thinking.
By the same organization that lets UNC sponsor fake classes.
Hm.
