If A-10 invites Siena they're going. Count on it. If they don't call we'll obviously stay put. Do not read too much into this title.

Didnt MTS try to tell us the press conference held awhile ago was an announcement for a possile move? Even after d'arg said they didnt contact him? He is still drinking vibrant green kool aid and as always should take what he says with 50 grains of salt

you have the MAAC tourney at your home court for the next 3 years. Patsos can tell recruits this. Your AD is now the head of the committee and you dare complain? Honestly, HOW DARE YOU, any of you guys wondering or complaining, HOW DARE YOU? You are now set up to dominate for the next decade and you complain about maybe now not getting into the A-10 because these "signals" look bad? HOW DARE YOU?

You are the kind of fan who made the Presidents want to take the tourney from Albany. Keep up this talk and it will be taken away again. Be respectful of the edge you have been given. I understand your fan base is the biggest and most supportive in the MAAC, but if you dare ever disregard the advantages you have in the MAAC, the door can be closed fast.

What kind of threat is that? Go ahead and take it away again. You think that hurts Siena or the MAAC more? The MAAC needs the tourney at the TUC more than Siena does - which is why the MAAC came groveling back into Siena's arms. Siena is the only host that can make the MAAC tourney respectably attended and profitable. You know it, Siena knows it, and the MAAC knows it. Siena has the MAAC right where it wants it - which is why D'Arg is the new basketball committee boss. You would do well to remember that.

We do our thing in the MAAC and then leave when the invite comes. Then we will be in a better conference, in the bottom half, struggling to get better. These are the traits of a good program. We have had our set backs, but if we keep trying, we will hit that high note and hopefully put this program on a higher level. New fans will come out of the woodwork and I wouldn't be surprised to have average crowds of 10k in the TUC. Don't be a hater. I'm happy for the Griffs. Enjoy the run. I hope Baron has a great day and a shot at the NBA. He seems like a good kid.

Ignorant post- most MAAC teams throw nickels around like Manhole covers- if Siena ever leaves the conference the days of all in MAAC tournament are over- book that. Other MAAC teams do not have fan interest to justify it- like the NEC it will be home of highest seed

You are all ignoring the fact that Darg is the dean of MAAC ads now and it's a prestige thing. It's his turn so he should do it until he doesn't - this should have no bearing on A10

GG or should I say Griff Gold with Envy; If Siena should ever leave the MAAC enjoy the tourney in Springfield, Bridgeport, Trenton, or LOSER TOWN BUFFALO.

MTS, you could be absolutely spot on, just depends on how you define long-term. For you guys who are dreaming of next year or the year after to jump to the A-10, I say concentrate on making the best of what fits ALL of the the sports at the school the best and be happy to be in the MAAC and not the NEC. Most people who post here really don't care about any other sports and that's understandable. But the administration certainly has to take that into account.
