Congratulations Imoh, and his block party. He was credited for 6, but I swear it seemd more like 10. The team must have had like 12-15 for the game (but of course they don't score them all as true blocks).
What's that saying about trying the same thing over and over again but expecting a diferent outcome? It seemed like Monmouth players didn't learn the first 10 times that we would block their inside/lay-up shots; but they continued to try and put them up anyway.

I would imagine Jimmy let them enjoy this win last night, but then brings them back down a bit by saying this was a very young team we beat and we only have 1 focus now. Canisius! In fact I hope they watched that game last night as a team. And there was no Billy Baron on that team we beat yesterday.
Go Saints!

Well, tonight they have the premature end of the year banquet..... I'm hoping the school is only doing this for this one year because they expect March-April to be a little crazy with A-10 rumors and maybe a canceled scholarship, so they want to get this banquet out of the way. This team should be preparing for the postseason and not celebrating halfway-there accomplishments.

My dream is we get invited in April but do not go until the 2015-2016 season. We win the MAAC title on the TUC floor and ride into the A10. This is not a crazy scenario either. The key domino is the Big East. Despite what they say there is no way they can stay at 10 teams for very long. St. Louis and likely Dayton will be poached from the A10. At that point Siena will be on the clock IMO.

In interview Xavier AD Christopher states it will happen in next 5 years. Two schools from a pool of four.. Dayton Saint Louis Richmond VA Commonwealth He made it clear that he came up with that list solely based on what the media always says and that he has no personal knowledge of which schools it might be. VCU is clearly out as a public school. If I were to bet on it, I'd say St. Louis and Dayton get the nod. But I wouldn't bet that means Siena gets a call as a result. If those 2 depart, that leaves the A10 at a very comfortable and manageable 12 teams with little chance of further poaching by other leagues. I don't see why a non-football league needs 14 teams. I think we'd need to see UMass upgrade its football and depart to have a good chance of the A10 expanding again.

Yea crazy here how people speculate that Siena will be going to the A-10. Its a good market for a team with decent attendance and history but you all have to remember that Siena is pretty average in all sports that aren't mens basketball and lax. Going to the A-10 would be cool but lets get back to the top of the MAAC first.

Throw in a narrow loss at Monmouth early in the season and Wright fouling out vs Iona and youre looking at a stones throw from first place. Honestly... its the reason i despised Mitch so much. It really doesnt take a whole lot to compete for a top half of the league. You almost have to try not to finish in the top half as Siena and the advantages they have. Or be a complete tool.

As much as I agree with this you could say the same thing about half of the close wins for the other team. Fact is Siena is about right where they should be in terms of MAAC wins and losses.
