Tough game to watch at start..Stags were beating Saints press easily -- Saints battle back -- nice win-- great effort by Brett tonight-- Robbie got back on track- good game by Hymes, solid games from Long and White..Oliver contributed.. A win we desperately needed

Agree - Their numbers don't necessarily show it, but I thought Long and White played a great game. A lot of energy and both ran the floor great. Obviously, Brett played really great!

Long played perhaps his best game as a Saint tonight. White was terrific defensively... one of my favorite players

White is scrappy and plays solid defense, a rare commodity on this roster. However, he is shooting just 31% from the field and 7% from 3 for the season. Kinda alarming for a 2G.

White will be working on his offense this off season. He's going to be a monster next year. Love that kid, he starts scoring and he'll get big minutes.
I like the new Jimmy.

Mo needs to relax a bit, stop thinking so much and let things come to him. Example- the smooth jumpers in the lane. Excited to see the possibility in him.

In a game that wasn't Marquis' finest outing of the season (a rarity, I know) it was nice to see two other Freshman, Long & White, step up and contribute so positively.
Hymes responded well in his "in case of PG emergency, break glass" role, and I was glad to see Poole get off the snide in the 2nd half.
And of course, Brett with a tremendous effort.

anyone know what is going on with Poole... just looks a bit out of it the last couple games. Jimmy implied that he took the Quinnipiac game hard but it doesnt seem like that would do this.

He's had the we lost 2 in a row Flu. I think the transfusions started working in the second half.
Thank goodness for modern medicine.

I think we need to keep running and also use the mid-range game more. Brett and Lavon have nice little 10-12 foot shots and White plays well in that situation and when he misses he tends to get a boards. The team is growing up a lot and winning some of these close games bodes well for the future. We need to shore up the defensive rebounding some more and we probably gain 4-5 points on the defensive side.
