Annnnnnd this is why Jimmy/Lucious is in on every local kid.
The reason Siena hasn't won transfer hardship waivers in years past is that there was no reason to grant them. Recruiting and establishing relationships with regional players is a start to making successful immediate impact transfers down the pipeline more of a possibility. Especially if (and I have NO knowledge of this, just speculation of others on this board) local AAU programs try to push players to the highest possible level. If they aren't ready and want to transfer, coming back home and possibly not sitting out a year becomes a very attractive option.

Unless I am forgetting about someone else? I agree getting a transfer or two is good if they fit a need. Of course like pro sports it's easier to build through the draft (freshmen) than to build through transfers (free agents).
