Pastner - 'Patsos said the game was a wakeup call for his players. "I had some guys wake up and realize you have to play at a high, high level," he said. "And you have to execute to win. We're trying to win the MAAC in March, and I saw a lot of bad habits that I'm responsible for as the head coach and I will do my best to break."'
Nice to hear a Siena HC not say "They were really, really good......" and say there's some stuff he hasn't corrected yet but he know's what that is and he will! I believe him.
Nice to see him calmly talking to Rich Audu on the bench before he threw the kid into WWIII without having any combat experience!
No disgrace losing to this freaky Memphis team. I don't think Memphis is going to have a two digit ranking after this tournament. Siena, for the first time, came out strong to start the second half - a major positive that Jimmy is sure to build on. A Memphis - Ok State rematch is one I don't want to miss - hope it happens at Disney. Not too much of a stretch to think it could happen for a third time in March!

So agree with all of this MP. Am 100% behind the staff. These kids can be competitive in the MAAC but they need to be present and accounted for on every posession and learn to minimize those air deflating daggers like giving up a wide open 3 after we make aggressive scoring plays.
