I can't remember the timing on this, but I'm sure PPC can help out here - when Jimmy was recruiting the current class of freshman to Loyola, did they know that Loyola was moving to the Patriot League? If not, would they have been able to get out of their commitments when the move was made? Can you imagine if Jimmy had stayed at Loyola with what he had left and this class of freshman and was playing in the Patriot League? We're talking some real league dominance.

All of the recruits were recruited for the MAAC but right before the official visit the move to the PL was announced. Wright went ahead with his visit and committed we cancelled Lavon's because the PL was not what he wanted. Luke reached out to us again and sold the PL with Patsos making it better than a typical academic school's style of play...so on signing day he actually signed to play in the PL...Patsos' leaving was the reason to ask out of NLI. And Wolfe and White had not signed so Loyola never had them and prob would not have gotten them...I heard the PL folks were complaining without even knowing the academic backgrounds of Wright and Long saying Patsos was supposed to change his recruiting and bring in PL guys lol

Go Saint Luke. He could sell an ice cube to an Eskimo. He's so great.

PPC, thanks! We're very glad that Lavon (and you) are part of the Siena family, and I think you will grow to appreciate the school, the area and the program. I really like what I've seen from the team and the chemistry that is developing; there is already more teamwork and unselfish play then we ever saw in the past three years. Go Saints!
