1. Patience from the fans and members out here, there will be a lot of losses early.
2. No mentions of Mitch when things are going bad. Fran started this 4 years ago.
3. Win a game or two in the Maac tournament.

1) play hard 2) play smart 3) play together
Everything will take care of itself if those three things are accomplished......

Yes let's not be like the Obama admin and blame everything that goes bad/wrong on Bush...well Mitch in this case.

For me, #1 is always beat Bonas, since I live minutes from their campus. #2 is a win over Albany...they will always be the Capital District's Div 1 afterthought. #3 is a team that improves throughout the season and makes the powers that be in the A10 take notice.

1. Feel like this team has a shot to win in the Quarterfinals of the MAAC Tournament 2. Feel like this team has a shot to win in the Semifinals of the MAAC Tournament 3. Feel like this team has a shot to win in the Finals of the MAAC Tournament That is it for me, there can be plenty of bumps in the road on the way there but by the time MAAC Tournament play rolls around these freshman are essentially sophomores and if I still feel like they don't have a shot to win the conference tourney then I'm not going to be happy with the season. Well they have officially delivered on what I want for this season, I feel like the way they are playing now that they have a shot to actually win the MAAC Tourney. Yes, it is a slim shot but while Mitch was here I never felt that way and there was plenty of worry going into this year (and even into this past weekend) that it could be the same way.

Good Job $cott. I was thinking about this thread while driving home from the game on Sunday wondering how everyone's preseasons hopes had played out. Thanks for going back and finding it.

I was probably a bit overly optimistic in the predictions thread (even though it pains me to put down 15 Ls and come away thinking there will likely be more), so I thought I would try a new thread. I'm a numbers guy so mine will be about numbers, but for the abstract people out there, your three things can be anything you want (IE Show improvement, better offense, urine-free elevators at the TUC, etc) Top Three Things I want out of this season: 1) A winning Home Record 2) A winning record last 10 games 3) 3 out of 4 against Quinny and Monmouth since I have mouthed off about them. # 1 has been met, check. So far so good on #2. #3-- maybe next year. But hey, 2 out of 3 ain't bad!
