I was probably a bit overly optimistic in the predictions thread (even though it pains me to put down 15 Ls and come away thinking there will likely be more), so I thought I would try a new thread. I'm a numbers guy so mine will be about numbers, but for the abstract people out there, your three things can be anything you want (IE Show improvement, better offense, urine-free elevators at the TUC, etc)
Top Three Things I want out of this season:
1) A winning Home Record
2) A winning record last 10 games
3) 3 out of 4 against Quinny and Monmouth since I have mouthed off about them.

My wishes are fairly modest.
1) around 14 wins.
2) growth and improvement in team chemistry as season progresses.
3) no serious injuries with our kids.
4)beat Albany (if I had 4 wishes)

A team that’s fun to watch i.e. runs the ball up the court plays up-tempo The foundation is set for future- play the young guys Protect the home court ( winning record at home)
This year will be a bumpy year – with plenty of up and downs- we are starting 3 freshmen Friday and will be more than likely starting 4 freshmen by end of November—not sure if that translates into 8 wins or 17- but as long as we do the top 3 I’ll be fine. Let’s implement the new style, get the young guys some experience , next year we add Patrick Cole- Michael Wolfe gets a year bigger and stronger, add at least 1 possibly two new recruits and Siena will be back where we belong -in mix for MAAC championship.

Lots of good comments in this thread! 1) Defend the home court! 2) 7-3 in Final 10 regular season games 3) By the last month of the season: excitement and expectations - you know the kind the haters say we are crazy to have

1. Be competitive in the second half: Both the second half of the season, and in the second half of every game. Don't be a team that falters, but a team that surges in both the short and long term. 2. Growth from every player in regards to addressing and improving their weaknesses. As a young, inexperienced team I expect them to take their licks early, but seeing them understand and address what's wrong will show their real value. 3. A fast-paced approach to the game, both in transition and in a pressuring defense. I realize rule changes this year may affect the usefulness of some pressure packages, but I expect this team to be able to adapt.

1. Feel like this team has a shot to win in the Quarterfinals of the MAAC Tournament 2. Feel like this team has a shot to win in the Semifinals of the MAAC Tournament 3. Feel like this team has a shot to win in the Finals of the MAAC Tournament
That is it for me, there can be plenty of bumps in the road on the way there but by the time MAAC Tournament play rolls around these freshman are essentially sophomores and if I still feel like they don't have a shot to win the conference tourney then I'm not going to be happy with the season.

1. An exciting brand of ball to help erase the memory/nightmare of the almost unwatchable Mitch-ball that we were subjected to for 3 years. 2. Patience and support from the fans in what I fear will be a very difficult rebuilding of a program that was left in shambles (with very little D-1 level talent) by the PW. 3. A team that stays cohesive throughout what could be a challenging year and still is playing with heart and intensity at the end of the year.
