Grant is very raw-- that's why he has no offers-- the 3 stars from ESPN is based on family bloodlines. He is ranked 52nd by DMV elite( Fisher is 20 and Wormley 46nd) having said that kid is extremely athletic and would be a nice project if we give two more away in spring.. still have to use at least one for a 2/3 that can play right away

Once the early signing period is over the target pool will be more defined and we can see which shooters are available. I think whoever we get needs to be a shooter

Dalton Soffer from Poway, CA (Fred Lynn's hometown if I remember correctly), has decommitted from Loyola, and has visited or is visiting Seton Hall.

Great stroke - can he defend? Willard at Seton Hall thinks so-- the Hall have recently lost out on several high profile 2 guards - so my guess is Soffer ends up at Seton Hall

He "Blue Chipped" his way to a great class this year, because the pressure is on him bigtime to win.

Sounds as dirty as most football recruiting stories......imagine if Willard did this to Fisher?? This board would be killing that little shit from Iona.

From a basketball perspective he sounds like a candidate to be recruited around. At this point he is a stretch for the Big East, a shooter without athleticism and the lack of the ability to get his shot off the dribble. He certainly can play a Big East role, but if future recruiting results in a more complete player who can match his shooting, his playing time will certainly be an issue. According to his story, he choose Seton Hall for the proximity to relatives in NJ and the opportunity to access NYC for cultural and job opportunities after graduation. Maybe a better bet would have been to choose Manhattan and the MAAC. That said, Seton Hall may not be able to get a recruit that can be better than he is, after all, that is why he got the offer this time. Maybe it will work out for him. I wish him luck.
