I agree with Wally. The less we have have of Mitch-mentality players the better. We need to get tougher, more physical....at every position. With Jiggets gone now, we should be looking for a eligible-now-transfer to be the starting 2G. Jiggets is not yet "gone now". Coach Patsos will be talking with him today. It may turn out that Stephan will not come to Siena, but as of last night that was not a final decision.

With Jiggets gone now, we should be looking for a eligible-now-transfer to be the starting 2G. An eligible now transfer is almost impossible for Siena, given that the only graduate program is in Accounting. If I had to hazard a guess based on what I have heard, assuming Hymes stays, White comes, Jiggetts does not come and the 13th scholarship is held for the Class of 2014, the playing group will be Hymes, Wright, Poole, White, Burdine, Long, Silas and Ogunyemi, with the 9th spot up for grabs. Bisping and Audu will get an opportunity. The staff has not seen Oliver play yet (expected to be cleared May1), so where he fits remains to be seen. I expect that both Long and Burdine could spend some time at the 4, and that Poole will start at the 2. I think Jimmy wants Evan to stay, and that he is likely to start at least early in the season before perhaps moving into a sixth man type of role. I'm told that Long and White are really tough kids who just won't back down. I am really excited about the future of the program.

I really like this kid, a solid PG is a must & Wright looks like he fits the bill. If we could land Wolfe or Jiggett's changes his mind I think we're on the road to recovery!

The DMVElite.com site has a video of the Capital Classic games played this past weekend. Watch as much as you want, but all you need to see is the first 15 or 20 seconds of the video to see what we have to look forward to over the next four years with Marquis running the point. Some of his passes are guaranteed to get even some of the blue hairs out of their seats.
There are additional highlight of Marquis as wel, as some of Wolfe (34 in white) and Jiggetts (3 in navy in the first game video.
