Has White officially committed? He verbaled. He is expected to sign his LOI during the current signing period. Long and Wright cannot sign a LOI because they had already signed one with Loyola and you can't sign more than one in an academic year. So their commitments will remain just verbal and they'll only complete admission paperwork.

I don't understand this site. Hymes wants to leave. Don't let him change his mind. The more of Mitch's recruits that leave the better the program will be. That gives us a chance to get bigger.

I don't understand this site. Hymes wants to leave. Don't let him change his mind. The more of Mitch's recruits that leave the better the program will be. That gives us a chance to get bigger. Let me spell it out for you. Hymes has experience and is a threat to score 30 on any given night. Can you guarantee they will replace that at the 1 with a freshman and a walk-on? BEcause those are the only other options. Let him play in Patsos's system before judging him. Buonaguro's system benefitted just one player: Anosike. Everyone else has a clean slate as far as I'm concerned. I'd like to see what they do when coached by someone who actually knows what they're doing. I betcha Hymes isn't as much a turnover machine under Patsos. Even if he ended up not being the best option to start, then he's the best back-up PG in the league. No way in the world does anyone with half a brain want to be rid of him.

I agree with Wally. The less we have have of Mitch-mentality players the better. We need to get tougher, more physical....at every position.
With Jiggets gone now, we should be looking for a eligible-now-transfer to be the starting 2G.
