I was looking at verbal commit recruits. Iona, Fairfield, Quin, canisius in the Maac are recruiting better than Siena. Iona is close to a 4 star recruiting average. Great job Tobin. Let’s figure out Iona’s formula. And copy it

Let’s figure out Iona’s formula. And copy it While Iona's recruiting is not related to today's scrimmage (as already noted) I believe your interpretation of Iona's recruiting is inaccurate. The 3.7+ recruiting rating is not the average of all recruits, but it is the rating for the highest rated recruit.

Let’s figure out Iona’s formula. And copy it I wouldn't put much stock in the Verbal Commits RPS. From their site: "The Verbal Commits Recruitment Power Score (RPS) is a proprietary measurement aimed at weighing the relative strength of a Player or a School across the college basketball recruiting landscape. For players, a higher score indicates a more sought-after recruit. For schools, the RPS is an indicator of a school's ability to sign the most in demand players. The RPS is not an assessment of a player's basketball ability, nor does it attempt to suggest which school has "the best" or most talented recruiting class." Even if you treated the RPS as some sort of indicator of talent, Siena's team score is currently 3.29 and Iona's is 3.71. That's an insignificant difference compared to high majors with scores in the high 4s to 5s. GMAC's first class was quickly cobbled together after being hired and included some 3 stars and a 4 star recruit in Ducharme. His '25 class looks strong too, highlighted by 3 star Isaiah Henderson. Siena is recruiting just fine - far superior to the prior regime.

Close win for the Saints on the road with a surprise holdover from last year’s squad leading the way…

Nothing that a trip or two to the Big Dance can’t cure … the Siena drought needs to come to an end

Look at the individual recruits ratings for the 2024 class and do the math.

Positive sign that GMAC is able to make adjustments at halftime vs Carm teams playing worse in the 2nd half.
