Carm is an arrogant ass! Being 4~20 says it all! He is an awful coach and I will not renew season tickets. What is is going to say when many of us don’t renew?

Pound your chest with a 5 point victory over the worst team in the MAAC. But they get to come to Albany to even the score and then what?

Pound your chest with a 5 point victory over the worst team in the MAAC. But they get to come to Albany to even the score and then what? Carm was impressed that he finally beat MC at Riverdale. Losing to Manhattan in Riverdale is not all that common among MAAC competition. In Carm's 5 years he only played at Riverdale 4 times and has won only this year when Manhattan is the worst team in the league. To date MC has only had 1 MAAC win at home. In 2023 MC had only 4 home MAAC wins of which Siena was one. In 2022 MC had only 3 home wins, Siena was one of those and in 2020 MC had 5 home wins and Siena was one of those. Siena did not play MC in Riverdale in 2021 because of the Covid season. So it seems the rest of the MAAC had no trouble winning at Draddy but it was common for Carm to get the L. Over the past 5 years most other teams thrived at Draddy, not so Carm. So bringing up a losing record at Manhattan is not playing your strong suit. Again, the players had a solid game at MC yesterday and it is good for Carm and the team to get the W, but it is certainly not something to be touted that he finally got a win at Manhattan when most other MAAC coaches didn't seem to have a problem with that in the past 5 years. And if it is, that is a sad commentary.

Nice to see a win. Any win this season is a good thing. Happy for the players. Eley was great and continues to show when healthy or even somewhat healthy he is a top player in the MAAC. Too bad Carm did not assemble a quality team around him this season. As for Carm and his post game comments they speak for themselves. The Saints beat a team they should have beaten and it took a spectacular scoring and rebounding effort by Eley and some good enough effort by a few other players to make that happen. Going to enjoy the W as it might be the last of the year. But as I said earlier this week Carm has to go!

The funny thing about the Jaspers game was that we were ranked fifth worst nationally in free throw percentage at 62%, and we ended the contest connecting at an 86% rate. Even though Eley played well & Mason hit on a few shots everyone else was pedestrian to the usual meh. So basically the FT % increase is pretty much the margin of victory and the difference in the game.

Amazing how crisp the ball and player movement is with no defense matched up against the Saints:

Amazing how crisp the ball and player movement is with no defense matched up against the Saints: I don’t know about that, I still see us doing a weave outside the 3 point line for 20 seconds before we attempt a shot. I think we have that weave down, I’d suggest Carm work on some plays to try and get to the basket. 😜
