What's on the wish list? Recruiting? Local Connection? NBA/ NCCA Exp? Big Name? Big Value?

Anyone the isn’t Carm and isn’t picked by D’Arg. Until both are gone we will not be competitive and the program gets zero of my support.

Probably doesn't matter for a couple of years.

I’m with the DArg has no part in the hiring crowd. I’m hoping he retires but he’s basically collecting a big fat check while being retired at his desk. So unfortunately he’ll be a hard out.

I would like to see our next coach a bit on the younger side. Find candidates that have been an assistant in excellent winning programs. A younger head coach from a winning DII program would certainly be a plus also. With the hundreds of head coaches that are out there in DII and DIII I can't believe there aren't plenty of great choices to chose from. We can only hope and prayer that the program can survive the next two years.

Siena won’t allow him to coach as a lame duck so it’s fired or extension. First order of business is D’Arg stepping down.

Siena hasn’t hired an up and coming coach from a college since Fran! That’s the biggest issue!

Seems widespread on the net that McNamara makes 300 G's at Syracuse as an assistant so he may want to take a head coaching job and make possibly a little more than that.

The pool of candidates is very different if the school is going to allow the next coach to over-recruit the number of available scholarship and not renew the scholarships of kids not performing to expectations. They will be able to find someone to take the job even if those restrictions remain but the best candidates are going to want carte blanche. I don't know if the Board and/or AD are willing to make basketball a priority and allow that.

this isn't crazy, and somehow it got mentioned through various grapevines.............Chris Mack is looking to get back into coaching, he is still getting paid by Louisville through 2025 almost $5 mil..........he has said being at a mid-major is a better fit for him, and the salary wouldn't be over the top since he has a pretty good bankroll..........another redemption tour like slick Rick...............hmmmmmmmmm

And it will show fans who are about to fly the coop--like me--that the school is serious about supporting its marquee program again. Watching Pecora coach Quinny at the MVP was like getting doused with cold water--the kind of ballsy move the current administration would never make.
