Most of the coaching prospects Siena is highly interested in are still playing and can't interview right now. Keith Urgo won't get the job this go around. But you may someday wish you had gotten him he is a great guy and smart coach. He'll be a success somewhere, but at this point in his career this job is too big for him.

Maybe Urgo is coming along with Chambers? Penn State job honestly sucks and maybe he wants out while he can, especially with the current stench related with the entire college. Sure, it would be a financial hit short term. But maybe Chambers sees better possibility for upward movement looking at Siena. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.

Penn State is in a brutal conference and is a football school. It's very tough to succeed there. I don't know what Chambers is making but he may feel it's time to get out. Other than money (of course a big thing) Siena's a better job than Penn State in many ways. Greg McDermott was at Northern Iowa went to Iowa State struggled and left on his own to go to Creighton. Maybe Chambers is thinking the same.

Chambers is making $900,000. If Siena is planning to move up, they can come close to that. I would still rather have Pitino. Also, if people hold it against Pitino to leave a job after 1 year, Chambers leaving the Big 10 after 2 years would be worse.

As for Pitino has to be a good buy out first 4 years - or no interest Toole- Pastso- and see if any interest on Paulsen... one of those 4 please ;p)

The job sucks Ed DeChellis chose to leave for Navy! All that said, Chambers wouldn't be in my top 20 probably, especially anywhere near $900 k.

think Chambers had a couple of injured players, i know it's an excuse, but what he had left played hard for him. tough job though.
