Last time playing as a Big East member and possibly the last time with JB coaching. He may step down and finally let Hopkins take over, rumor is USC wants Hop. and is willing to pay him big money. With the move to the ACC next year and JB almost 70 he might turn the keys over so SU will be in good hands for the future.
I'm hoping for a nice run, sweet 16 looks very doable, athough that bozo Seth Davis said they will lose to Montana, LOL. SU will win that one for fun. Would love to see Indiana in the Sweet 16 matchup, then Miami in the game to get to Final Four.

Papi-
It certainly won't be easy for the 'cuse...they play out at San Jose, CA.
I'm sure there is a good fan base of Syracuse fans on the west coast but I wouldn't be surprised if you see a good amount of Montana fans.

They mentioned at halftime of the first game today, JB might be off the sidelines sooner than you think.

Well...that was easy against Montana- very difficult game versus Cal next for the cuse...
Practically a home game for Cal, the arena is 45 miles away from the campus.

Papi-
I was wrong about Montana.
Not a hater, just stating a fact about the arena being close to Cal. As we have seen so far in the tourney, a home advantage helps.
That's all.

Impressive win by the 'cuse. Now it somewhats gets easier for them- they head to Washington, DC.
We'll have to see how they will do against Indiana next game. Every one seed except Louisville is weak.

Every one seed except Louisville is weak. That was one of Syracuse's worst games of the year, thankfully it was against a very poor Cal team. If they play like that against Indiana the seasons over.

Elite 8, come on jump on the bandwagon. You can root for Cuse and Siena.

Elite 8, come on jump on the bandwagon. You can root for Cuse and Siena. Cuse zone looked really, really strong last night. Really left an Indiana team, whose calling card all season has been ball movement, look foolish. As a Cuse native but Siena alum, I've always pulled for both programs fervently. While rooting for two teams in most sports is sacrilege, I think that the sheer number of NCAA Division I affords you the luxury of pulling for more than one team so long as: they are at considerably different ability levels (BCS vs. mid major), significantly geographically dispersed, or you have specific personal connections.

The zone was even better today, awesome job by the Cuse, hold opponents to 89 points in two games you dont need to score much. SU wins easy in the sweet 16 and elite 8 with 61 and 55 points. Some around here wouldnt be happy with that type of game, but in Orange nation NOT ONE PERSON IS COMPLAINING, they have real and true fans.
