Lots of UCLA/NC fans were rooting for SP. What a game. Yeah, now, watch out what you wished for. 😂 Now you have to play them, and it’s not going to be easy. Keep winning St. Peter’s!!! Keep making history!!! Keep making money for the MAAC also. Gene Steratore wanted to take the game away from the Peacocks. Thank God the on court refs didn't do it.

Now I want them to make the Championship game!!! Why not!?!

St.Peters undersized up front but their guards match up with anybody. They just run their stuff and make their free throws (19-22 vs. Purdue); they have no fear. I believe Holloway has out-coached Calipari and Painter. He's got his own brand now.

Wow! It only took St Peter’s one tournament run to match Siena’s three NCAA Tournament victories while in the MAAC. 🙂
SPU’s NCAA Tournament winning percentage currently at 50% (3-3).
It’ll take Iona, what, winning 8+ games to get close to 50%. 😂

How about a Kansas/St Peter’s Championship game!!! That’d surpass Butler making it to the Championship game those two times.!!! #15 seed still alive!!! Regardless of what happens on Sunday this easily trumps George Mason, VCU or Loyola. And Butler was a 5 and 8 seed when they made the national championship game. This is historic.

Exactly, that’s why I think ST Peter’s would be more historical/meaningful if they could ever make it to the final four/Championship game (as a #15 seed).

Their guards do EVERYTHING well. Shoot, defend, make FT's and handle any pressure. Bigs do just enough to make it a "our guards against yours" game.
Congrats to the Peacocks and the MAAC. Great exposure for them and the conference.

Holloway has done a tremendous job with this group. If they continue to keep the game or moment from getting too big for them anything or everything is possible. Yeah, historic. What a great story!

If you told me Ndefo fouled out with 4 pts and 3 rebs, their 4 guards shot 2/13 from 3, and they got outrebounded by 11, I'd say there is no way they could win. So it's not like they played their best game of the year to pull this off. That's what is most amazing to me, and suggests that they could keep going if more of their shots fall.

Great exposure for them and the conference. St. Peter’s will remember this run for 100 years but it’s the MAAC who can really use it to boost the conference if they play their cards right with the cash and exposure they’ll get.

But it's the MAAC so....

Trevion Williams cries foul: nypost.com/2022/03/26/purdues-trevion-williams-saint-peters-got-a-lot-of-calls/amp/I was wondering why they didn't have their 7 foot 4 300 pound center EDEY in the game the last 5 minutes and this article makes me wonder even more. Maybe they should have had both in. Regardless Spc came up big in those final minutes just as they have their last 10 games. Hey if SPC wins the national championship maybe the ncaa will finally scrap the Nit.
